I'm sitting on the couch reading and I hear this awful noise which sounds like my dog has something stuck in her throat. I check on her and she's fine, so I turn on the tv and then realize what that choking sound was. IT WAS THE WASHINGTON CAPITALS ABOUT TO LOSE ANOTHER PLAYOFF SERIES? Worst bunch of under achievers I have ever seen!!

Hi Allen, do you prefer one over the other and if so why?

Good evening everybody, I looking to upgrade my current Pflueger Trion Spinning reel to either the Supreme or the President XL. Any opinions? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth spending an extra 20 bucks to get the Supreme or not. thanks

WRB Thanks for the welcome. I did not see any of your questions, I'm sorry. As far as tackle goes I am currently using a Pflueger Trion spinning real and an 6 foot ugly stick. I am looking to upgrade to a Pflueger Supreme or President XL some time in the next few weeks. I want to upgrade my rod also but have absolutely no idea what to look at. All I know is I need to keep it under 100 bucks, preferably under 75. As far as other tackle I like the Senkos as they seem to be the only thing I catch any fish on. I also like Mepps spinners. I have never tried Crank baits, no success what so ever with top water, and never tried frogs but want to learn.

I'm just getting back into fishing and on a very tight budget. I am using a Pflueger reel and an Ugly Stick rod. At my level I seriously doubt upgrading my equipment is going to help. With that said,as a bank fisherman,what line would you recommend? thanks for your imput

I'm so over rooting for the CAPITALS. Year after year they enter the playoffs only to lose in the first or second round. This year is no different! How is it that they can have the NHL' s top goal scorer, the NHL's best goalie, and the most wins and still stink it up in the playoffs. Me thinks this team has no heart nor the will to will. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Good evening all, newbie from Howard County Maryland. 54 year old Redskin and Capitals fan... I am used to disappointment Anyway, I have been an on again off again fisherman for many years. There for awhile I was pretty into fishing, had a nice bait casting rod and real but had NO SUCCESS with them so I sold them. I am currently using a Pflueger spinning reel and an Ugly stick rod. I don't see the logic in buying expensive equipment if I have no idea what I am doing. I like using Mepps spinners and Senkos, I have tried plastic worms but have never had any success. Gave up on them but want to give them another try. I'm looking forward reading and learning. Any advice given would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening everybody. Just getting back into fishing after 5 or so years. I live in Howard County Maryland I am a Redskins fan and a Capitals fan so I am used to disappointment. I do most of my fishing at local ponds and lakes.I am a bank fisherman, not by choice but necessity. My current rig is a Pflueger spinning reel paired with an ugly stick. I had a Basspro Pro Qualifier baitcaster but never really learned how to use it so I sold it years ago. I have never had any success with soft plastic worms but am anxious to learn. I have had success with Senkos and spinners but that's about it. Looking forward to learning.
