  1. Never a trailer hook but always a tailer. Usally something small like a twister tail with a 1/4 of it or so pinched off to fit. Chartreuse spinnerbaits get white and white spinnerbaits gets chartreuse and so on. When fishing at night I like to bulk it up I will use a beaver or creature type bait.
  2. Firetiger cranks are one of my favorite and best producers. But you can't go wrong with white either. I am afraid youll need both...
  3. Yea, when your standing waist deep in the middle of a river setting down a second rod or tackle isnt an option. But its nice to be able to have a different set up to go to. And sometimes having a back up rod can save the day. I used to stick a second rod in the back of my belt with the rod butt in my back pocket. While this works not so comfortable, and if I wade to deep or step in a hole gear gets wet. So I got one of these http://www.coastalfishinggear.com/osfm_wade_right.php very handy keeps gear and rods up high and dry and gives you lots of options. Check it out might be the answer your looking for. Worked for me.
  4. I have the ASR845C 7' crankin stik I use for medium and shallow cranks. I've been using it for about four years now, paired with a curado 100D. I absolutly love this combo. By far one of my favorite setups.
  5. Crayfish are found worldwide as numerous different species. Some say as many as 500 species, 330 of which are here in the US. The only continents with no crayfish are Africa and Antarctica. Yes, there are crayfish in every state of the Union. But while some waters have plenty, some have hardly any.
  6. I have had a Berkley digital $20 scale for over four years now. Changed the batteries for the first time last year. Has always checked out +/- one ounce. Go to the grocery and buy a gallon jug and a half a gallon jug of water. Have them weigh them on there certified scales, wright the weights on the jugs. Now you have two different certified weights to check your scales against.
  7. I did and the "SENKO FAQ " didnt say one thing about what YOUR FAVORITE color was : Mine is any color as long as its black
  8. Tin that is by far the most ignorant statement I have ever read on this site. It is also kinda funny seeing how I was diagnosed with add over thirty years ago and my brother with adhd not long after that.We were not treated at the time for my mother refused to medicate her children. Which later turned out being a huge mistake. With that said, let's start with the history of ADHD because it has been around a lot longer than one may think. The disorder was first noticed back in 1902 and the terminology used to describe the disorder then was, Defect of Moral Control. As time passed, the disorder went by many names until identified as ADD in 1980 and then ADHD in 1987. In 1998, the AMA disclosed that ADHD was one of the best researched neurological disorders so proof indeed does exist and researchers want to know more about this most misunderstood disorder. Also, Ritalin began to be used to treat the disorder back in 1956. I now have two children with ADHD. My son age 9 diagnosed at age 6. Has severe ADHD along with,Deficits in working memory. Difficulty with social interactions and social networks. Anxiety disorder Learning and cognitive disorders Impulsivity and aggression Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Which is all linked back to his ADHD. Medication is the key, but finding the right one is the trick. No two children are the same and every med. affects every child differently. It was easy with my daughter. She was a D student, struggling in every subject. Losing work totally unorganized and they wanted to hold her back. We got her on the right medication and in three months her grades were coming up. Within eight months and I kid you not she was on the honor roll , she is now straight A student. And I am very proud of her. My son is a different story. And being a single father he honestly sometimes wears me out. Finding the right doctor and the right medication is the key. stratos 375 How dare you with your ignorant statements and total lack of knowledge on this, tell me or anyone else that ADD can be fixed by slapping or beating the child. Are you kidding me? That's all I have to say for now.
  9. Well i guess if...... Finishing 5th in the points standing out of 40 other drivers is average. I guess all that means is there are 35 drivers who wish they were average. 3rd place in the Indy 500 is average. I suppose anyone could do that. : Sounds more like a hater to me. But, whatever that's your right. I never said she was great. All I'm saying is the girl can drive. And I wish her the best in her nascar career. 8-)
  10. Not that good OK, Lets talk facts. She began go-karting in 1992 at the age of 10, and eventually won several World Karting Association championships. She moved to England at age 16 in order to advance her racing career. Patrick raced in Formula Ford and Formula Vauxhall, earning a second-place in Britain's Formula Ford Festival,She had the highest ever finish for an American in that race! In 2002, Patrick started driving for Rahal Letterman Racing in the United States. After making several starts in the Barber Dodge Pro Series, she moved to the Toyota Atlantic Championship for 2003. Patrick won one pole position and was a consistent podium finisher (top three); however, she never won a race. In 2004, Patrick finished third in the Championship. 2005, Patrick became the fourth woman to compete in the Indianapolis 500 Posting the fastest practice speed of the month (229.880 mph/369.956 km/h) Patrick's fourth starting position, was the highest ever attained for the race by a female driver.Patrick became the first female driver to lead the race at IndianapolisPatrick's fourth place was the highest ever finish for a female driver at the Indy 500.In 2005, Patrick finished 12th in the IndyCar Series championship, with 325 points. She was named Rookie of the Year for both the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and the 2005 IndyCar Series season. 2006 a 9th place finish in the IndyCar Series Championship point standings, besting her 12th place points finish as a rookie. 2007 season as a whole, Patrick scored her first three career podium finishes to finish with 4 top 5's and 11 top 10's while leading 17 laps on the season. She also scored her career best championship points finish of 7th. 2008 She finished the IndyCar Series season in sixth place - the highest championship finish among American drivers for the 2008 season. 2009 Patrick raced at the Indianapolis 500. She finished third behind winner Helio Castroneves a new record high finish for a female driver in the race. Danica finished the season 5th overall in the point standings, her highest finish to date. This 5th place finish was not only the highest of any of the Andretti Autosport drivers, but of any non-Penske or Ganassi driver for the 2009 season. OK she may not be great, but not that good. C'mon, She has accomplished more already than some drivers do in a life time of racing. Male or female. I say cut her some slack. I looking forward to what she what she might be able to do in nascar.
  11. First off, I was asking roadwarrior an honest question. Second, Maybe you should reread his post. He said nothing about spelling or punctuation at all. He was referring To(I do believe) In the differences in the two rods, and I wanted his honest opinion on them both. Third,("And" you've got to be kidding) If all you got is,"And" and a "comma" out of my post I can live with that . I am not here to impress anyone with my writing skills.(sorry) But thank you Nine Miler for pointing that out. No hard feeling and I hope you enjoy the rest of you evening. Now lets get back on topic about these Tour PT rods.
  12. You're kidding, right? Oops! There goes any credibility even if we overlook the screen name...Everyone has their favorite brand, but you're going to be called on silly statements. Anyone who actually owns G.Loomis knows that those comments are ridiculous. : Hmmm.....For the sake of credibility roadwarrior how long have you owned and used your Quantum Tour PT rod? And when using it for pitching jigs and worms, what was it exactly you didn't like that made you choose the G.Loomis rod over it for this technique? Just wondering? Maybe TourPT just likes this rod for this technique for the reasons he stated. For HIM it just may work better. But...questioning a mans credibility because he chooses to use a different rod than you for a certain technique is not a fair statement. ooo..aaa Oops! I forgot if someone isn't using a $500-$800 combo they can't catch bass anyway. What was I thinking. : Never mind
