Hi guys, looking for some advice regarding some fishfinder I am looking into. I really want sidescan and mapping but I have a tight budget of about $350. Been looking at used lowrance hook 5 tripleshot and humminbird g2 5 si. Are the screens big enough to read sidescan with good eyes or is it really difficult to see anything at all? Hi all, I am relatively new to the forum. I don’t post very often but I have been looking into getting a lowrance unit for my kayak. Just found a great deal for a lowrance hook2 tripleshot 7x. I have been looking for units for a reasonable price online with sidescan. I stumbled on this and all I seem to see is bad reviews regarding the transducer and it not seeing things underwater or not functioning. What are your guys thoughts? Any experience with this unit or the tripleshot series? Thanks for any help

Hey all, Just starting to get into some river fishing on the susquehanna. I am from Baltimore, Maryland so I was looking for places to launch within a couple hours on the susky. Is the three mile island with the power plant a good place to start for winter fishing? Also, could I use a pedal yak? Thanks for any help

Just thought I would ask around and see if anybody is willing to give up any spots or knows of any spots around the catonsville/arbutus area. Even if it is only 10 minutes away from catonsville. Just trying to find some new water to fish that holds some bass. Thanks for the help.
