I'm old school and still like mono due to it floating for top waters. I've used braid on spin casters but after my divorce I'm on a budget. Go easy on me..... When you guys spool braid and have a fluro leader..... How long is this leader? I'm seeing some of you have 3 types of line on one spool. "Backing" is used to save money?

This my opinion at $500. I'm a traveling man and 2 piece rods is what I have use. I have a Daiwa Tatula CT Type R on St Croix Premier MF 6'6 I have a Pflueger President Special Edition on BPS Bionic Blade 6'6 So both for $500 So happy with both rigs. I know it's not in your parameters...guess I'm just proud of my combos that have served me beyond expectations
