  2. Hey Guys , Been thinking about putting bocco bearings in my reels are the worth it and are they easy to install Thank you ? If it matters most of my reel are lews tp and bbi and are buying 4 daiwi svtws reels...
  3. I spool half my reel with 50lb braid then basically tying a very long leader fc or mono i dont fill to top i stop around 1/4 from top that seem to work for me helps reduce backlash and makes skipping little easier , plus you save money on floro when iuse braid as backing .. Know matter how good you are at skipping you still are going to backlash ..

  8. Thanks guys for the reply, most of my cb rods are m and 1 is mh they are dobyns glass rods after reading your reply I will put 20 on 1, 15 on 1, and I will put 30on 1 .I did notice a huge difference with braid I really like feeling what my cb's are doing on the bottom. The only time I use spinning gear for cb's is when I fish shad raps ..Living in NH we have some great lakes for cb fishing Semper Fi NH BULL
  9. Hey guys, Just like your input on what size line do you use when cranking with braid , I tried 10lb test and line kept snapping I think i need to slow down when casting ..when i didn't snap line results where good .I like that i can feel everything when cranking with braid, I will try 15lb and see how that works out..

  11. Hey guys , I was wondering if anyone fished the pdl long bait it's basically a rig but only one hook. I'm going to try it today I got it at tackle warehouse . I don't get to excited or caught up in new lures. Most of the time they catch anglers not fish but I got a good feeling with this. Trying to figure out tackle I was thinking MH or h rod 40lb braid ,or braid with 20lb mono leader, Thanks guys ( semper fi)

  18. You can't beat a jerk bait, But a swimbait , hair jig and tube works very well I started using the float and fly the last couple of years with great results not the most exciting way to fish but it works..
  19. I will try it with my top water baits,I will let you know how it works.
  20. Hey Guys ,I was wondering if anyone tried the new owner inline hooks ?, I have done some research it looks like you get better action and it's better for fishing weeds they say less likely to throw lure , If that's true great but all the research has been with inshore fishing can't find anything on fresh water. Going to try it come spring time..
