I have a new fishing kayak. Perception Pro 12. It has a spot for a Plano type storage box. I measured the opening and its 7x11. I would like to get a box I can store my hooks and worms in. Any suggestions?

I'm getting excited. If all goes as planned, I'll be getting another one for my son.

I found a nice used Wilderness Tarpon 140 near me. Wondering if this is a viable bass kayak for ponds and small lakes. I could eventually use it for big lake fishing, but I want to use it for bass... What say you internet gurus?

The reason the Catch interests me is that it is seriously stable. I don't watch to flip over when I haul in that six pounder... ha ha ha

Hi guys, I love my Bass Raider but I think I want to add a kayak to my stable. I'm looking at the Pelican Catch 120 NXT. Has anyone on here used one? I need to stay under $1000. Small lakes, ponds, and rivers. Thanks.

The reel is a President spinning reel. And the line is 14 lb... maybe that's my problem.. Might have gotten too much poundage.

So, I usually use trilene. Thought I'd try this stuff. So far I'm not so happy. It spools loosely when I reel it. I have been getting tanlges when I have never had them before. Any suggestions?

I have my TM mounted to the front with a cheaply made rudder on the back. Works amazing. I had it out without the rudder and it was ridiculous. I built a table to help when my six year old is on board. I'd like to get an outboard, finding one is almost impossible.

Got the raider out today. Worked awesome. No bites, but bats OK, no one was catching anything. I have trolling motor set up on the bow and had a really really hard time pulling forward, back end wanted to swing put every time. There was hardly any wind. Do most people have their raider set up this way? I ended up using reverse and pushing going backwards. Any suggestions? my boy loved it. I need to get one of those seat raisers from Walmart...

What do people use for horizontal pole holders? Should I build a vertical pole holder?

There is a 12 foot Jon boat that I can pick for a song. Any downside vs the raider?

So looking at the bass hound, it doesn't look like a pontoon style like the bass raider. Is there an advantage of one vs. the other. It looks like the hound can handle a larger gas motor. Is one more stable than the other?
