  1. I was fishin a part of white clay creek in delaware im guessin the striper was so sick because he was jist old but another thing ive noticed since i started observing is some fish have circular sores that are pink and elevated abov the normal skin, next time im out fishin i will try and get a picture
  2. Hi guys, today i was out fishin a small creek and caught a ton of smallies but about half of them had small black dots on their underside. What could this be? Also i caught a nice striper, well around 20" but considering the largest smallie ive caught out of there is only 16" it was pretty sweet but soon afteri hooked iti knew something was wrong, he didnt fight he more or less just wiggled and flapped around. Once i had landed him i noticed he had sores all across him on both sides so badly u couldnt see his stripes, he was mostly dull white with big patchs of pink, any ideas what could be causing these sick fish?? Parasites, virus, water quality? Its quite sad seeing fish so sick like that (btw caught him on topwater reelin in a yellow tube :D)
  3. It is a private pond on the premise of a small over 50 community, its a rather small manmade pond, probably around 70x50 yards. However it is ridiculously deep, around 15-20 ft in the middle. Thanks for the helpful and informative answer

  5. Hi everybody, theres a small yet very deep pond by me that has tons of bass in it and i have never seen anybody elses fish there. The only problem for me is that the bass i catch out of there are kind of hit and miss, one catch may be a big healthy female the next may be a shriveled up bass that can barely fight... heres a pic of an example
  6. Basses teeth are different everywhere, for example a bass with sharp teeth like yours may feed on softer or slipperier forage, hence the teeth while some bass may feed on harder forage such as crawfish hence the sandpaper kind of teeth
  7. Hi, this is my first ever post so excuse any rookie mistakes, but i have been doing alot of smallmouth fishing lately on a local stream by me. The stream rarely gets deeper then 3-3.5 feet but when it does its often a large pool, and right outside these small pools there are schools of baitfish hanging i nthe shallower water that almost immediately spook and i think they are scaring all the smallmouth, any tips on how to stop this from happening? and no i cant walk the bank because this stream flows through a golf course. when fishing this stream i usually throw a small weightless senko, small tubes, and grubs. any different baits/tips for this type of small stream fishing? All advice is appreciated, thanks in advance
