Got out on a spot today with the family. The lure I used was the Strikeking Crankbait. Had no bites. Switched over to a different rod that had a small worm and caught a little sunny. Nothing big but it was the only fish!

Another great day on the pond! Time: 5pm Weather: Partly cloudy, Mid 80's Bait Used: Pumpkinseed Senko Caught 2 little bass while being on a pond for around an hour or two. First cast landed a nice bass around some Lilly pads. About an hour later before I left changed spots and caught the second! Great day of fishing!

Just received the Northland Thumper Crappie King. Something small but will be getting more soon! Can't wait to try it out!

Last time I was out I Texas rigged a senko and scored a smallmouth. Small but good for the spot I was at. I'll try that out. And the only thing I heard bad about the Popr was how easy the hook bends. I tested it out and I put little force on the hook and it started to bend. I just need to replace it and I should be set! Ya I was looking for a smaller size but couldn't find any. I wasn't really lure shopping so I just took a quick look and got what I saw. All the reviews are good for the crankbait so I'll try it out. I haven't had any time at all to get out.

Just picked up three new bait. The Strikeking Crankbait 4s, 5 inch pumpkinseed senkos, and a Rebel Pop-r. I have heard nothing but good from these lures. If you have any experiences let me know! Thanks

Yes there's so weeded areas and the water level hasn't seem to be decreasing. Like I said the one thing I can think of that would be killing this is the high acidic levels.

Yes so far the only thing I've tried was Texas rigging it and it worked lol. I'll definitely start to work with other rigs and learn to feel the bottom. Thank you.

I have been fishing at this lake since I was 5. It's tough to even catch a little bluegill, let alone a bass. I've talked to people that go out on the lake in boats that can get the even the best spots and there is nothing. Anyone know a possible reason good fish can just not be in there anymore? The lake has a history of having high acidic levels but I don't think that's the only reason.

I would want a spinning reel and probably something 20-60 dollars. Most of the time I'll fish with a soft plastic or live bait and fish in areas that have sandy bottoms and some weeds. Other areas with somewhat of a rocky bottom.

Any recommendations for the best rod and reel combo? need something pretty cheap but that is good for any type of fish.

Today I was out fishing with a buddy and came across a new spot I have never been to before. It was tough to get to because it was so grown over but it was worth it. It was my first time trying out a new senko Texas rigged while my friend used a jitterbait and a popper. All together we scored three smallmouth bass. Any tips for using plastic worms? I'm relatively new to it. Thanks!

Same thing happened with me today. Not the jumping but the fish completely missing the lure. I was using a popper and worked out good once they started to take it.

This is something I'm gonna try. Just starting using soft plastics. I'll try this out the next time I head out.

Hi I'm new the the site and have been fishing since I was little. My dad had my start by using a little Scooby Doo rod and reel and now I'm out fishing using an Ugly Stick. Just started using soft plastics and caught my first using a senko today. Good luck fishing!
