  3. Cabin rental on the lake or near it in south texas?

    Plan on renting a cabin or the like on or near the water for the first week of October, most likely a weekend thing. Found a few spots but would like to hear from everyone that has good luck or experience with a place. Would like for the cabin to be somewhat updated and not be runned down A/C is a must prefer it to be on or walking distance from the water 4x4 trail would be awesome swimmable waters would be nice but not needed We're in Houston so within a few hours (2-3) hopefully. THanks in advance
