Curious why nobody talks about fishing on the north end of toledo bend? Never fished it before but looks like there is plenty of trees and other structure around the river.

Anyone use this line,if so how do you like it?

Hate to let the cat out the bag....a strike king cut r worm cut down to about 3-4" is killer on a swim jig. No matter how slow or fast you reel it has awesome action. I use watermelon red and dye the tip with chartruse JJ's magic. Menace grub is my 2nd choice.

Some type of walking topwater followed by a soft plastic jerkbait.

Been eyeballing those...just not a big fan of EWG hooks.

Started fishing swim jigs the last 2 years and has been working well for me in 6 foot or less water. Curious to see how many people fish them in deeper water...say 10-25 foot. What size weight and line are you using?
