guys keep telling me to fish a spoon across the lilly pads where i am at. what type of spoon should i fish?

i got the boat. it is in great shape except the motor has no spark so i got it in the shop to get repaired. hopefuly it will be ready for my first tourny.

where should i look ? im not familiar with the different parts. is a astroglass the same as an astro? i cant find any pics of one.

i know someone who is selling a 1989 astroglass for 2,000 dollars. i think it would be a good starter boat for me. it has a 120 hp motor. is that a good deal and what should i look for when i go check it out? he said everything works but i dont know a lot about them .

its been pretty good for me here in south ga. was catching nice ones on trick worms and senkos but in the last week the worm bite has been slow. i caught several this week on x-rap 8 and spinnerbait. this month i caught a 6lber and several 4lbers on trick worms so i cant complain.

plan on doing some all night fishing. what would be the best bait for that?

since i joined bass resource ive been learning a lot . the wacky rig senko has been awsome. got a 4lber today and a 6 lber last week on it. been catching a lot on jerkbaits too.

i was using trick worms and finesse worms in watermelon and red during the week. i tried everything on staurday

any thoughts

i went fishing three days this week for a hour a day and averaged about five bass a day averageing about four lbs and one six lbs. i was able to go out today all day. i thought i was going to catch a lot of bass. i was wrong. i only caught one little bass. they kept taking the bait and just carrying it off. every time i went to set the hook , no fish. it rained all day yesturday, do you think that was the problem?

i fish a very small pond that u can cast across and ive seen some huge bass in it but i cant get them to bite. i can catch smaller ones with senkos fished really really slow or a jerk bait really slow.

i was thinking hard ones , i went out today ad tried the x-rap for the first time and in about an hour i caught a 4 lb ad a 2 lb

im going fishing on saturday, the weather here has been 65 to 70 deg. this week and supposed to be 67 on sat. and sunny. i plan on being on the water before the sun comes up. what would be the best baits to throw till the suns up and then throughout the day and when the suns going down? should i fish shallow early morning or deep. i will be fishing a large pond. thanks

what type of jerkbait works best for cold weather?

i went back out on my lunch break today, it was very cold . a cold front came through so i thought for sure i wouldnt catch nothing. i was fishing a senko and after about fifteen minutes i caught a three pounder, not a giant but i love catching them. thanks for all your help

they are definatley bass . i couldnt see them today. i tried a zoom double ringer on a wacky rig,no strikes. i went back with a trick worm, fished it really slow and got a couple of dinks and one small bass. i seen a lot of big bass swimming yesterday,just cant get,em. i appreciate all the help

they are definately spooked. i will try something smaller thanks

i went fishing in a small pond today and walked up and seen big bass just sitting there. when i would cast to the shore u would see the big swirls but i could not get a strike. i used trick worm tr i tried jig slow , i tried spinnerbait,buzzbait, could not get a strike. can anybody give me some advice that might could trigger some strikes?
