    I use 15 lbs braid, glass bead, swivel and 8-10 lbs mono leader. The leader has to be mono as you want your bait to gently float free off the bottom.

    I love my Shimano Stradic Spinning Reels. Smooth as butter and they are tough as nails. Not cheap I get it, but I'm a big believer you get what you pay for.
