Fishing Fishing Fishing!!! If it becomes work you'll hate it!!! I haved fished two clubs for 2 years. This year I'm gonna fish a tourney on Sat. It'll be my 5 for the year!! Can't live on tourney fishing, wish i was van damme and could but when the tourneys come to be work you'll lose it!!! But when ya get the bite and it's a good one your gonna be in 7th heaven!!! Nothing better than betting your buds just don't get cocky about it!!

I fish a couple clubs ones rules are the non boater get the front of the boat for half the day the other is the non gets the say of where ya go for half the day. I started the first club with little experience and was given a boat on a cooling lake told the boater to fish I'd follow. I've had nons in my boat and told them that they're not gonna tear it up more than i will. The other club is a battle. I was up on 13 had 2 fish and my non pulls a 6# 13 oz after he settled down I told him to get in the front. He looked at me like I was crazy but I told him I got 2 and you're beating me by 3# WIN SOME MONEY!!!! I fished a tourney IL state qualifier with a boater how your describing been a few years ago and he boated me from the get go!!! After About two hours i was up 2 to none and he looks to me for answers I said black and he didn't get it still boated me!! I got my last 3 fish with 6' of line cause he parked me on a snag!!!! Never think you're screwed make the best of it and fish have confidence on a short string! I ended up fishing the 12 man team outta il after that tourney!! You gotta deal the card your dealt but if I dah to do a boster like your describing??? Might b a 3/4oz spinnerbait, rattle trap, no wait a minute a mag spook right by the ear they'll get the idea!!! IMHO!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I go when the ice is still on the little canal I fish water is maybe 35 I have 3 to 4 feet of open water by the bank I throw a 1/4 oz spinner bait with a #4 or 5 colorado slow slow slow but I can usually pull 3-4 on them days them fish are cold blooded but they still have to eat the N side is always better concentate on dark wood You'll be suprised how many fish will eat a slow rolled that early

I have caught lm and sm in 45 ' of water but i prefer fishing 5' or less I like being sneaky lol

We have about 30 members and we run a 100 point scale 3 point loss per position 3points lower than last for the skunkers we also have a .5 bonus for each fish caught and a 3 point bonus for big fish so if ya got first with 5 fish you end up with 102.5 second with 5 fish would be 99.5 third with 2 fish one being big fish you end up with 98 points works fine took several arguements to get it done but everyone likes it in the club Chad

I fished that circuit last year outta pool 13 It was a well run event . We didn't do relly well but we did manage to qualify for the National if there is one I hope so I would like to see how an event that size is run. :-/
