Peacock on a Jig
i caught an 8 and a half pounder and the florida state record is 9.2lbs so they definately get bigger than 4lbs. I've actually heard of people catching them in the 10lb range its rare, but it happens.

Sufix Siege or Elite?

How do you guys fish the super flukes?
seems like flukes work any which way you fish them i've caught plenty of fishin using these on a t-rig and deadsticking them, i've recently started wacky rigging them and absolutely wreaking havoc on fish, and my cousin pretty much only fishes them weightless and he catches his fair share of fish.

kistler vs St.croix

senko on a shaky head?
i tried a 4" senko on a bite me shakey head recently and its the only thing that produced fish for me on that particular day. give it a try it works

SHAKEY HEAD JIGS
bite me shakey heads are good but i think you would be better of with buckeyes spot remover. i find them a little easier to fish weedless, i have a little more trouble with the bite me shakey heads because the tip of the hook seems to stick out a little more.

looks like a new PB/ weight estimation

Sufix anybody have any opinions?
As far as line goes i've used all sorts of line in the past 6 months including sufix elite, yozuri hybrid, P-line cxx and trilene XL and i could honestly say ive had the least amount of problems with sufix siege. I simply love the stuff it handles well and i have yet to lose a fish, had my line snap midcast, or have a knot come undone since i've been using it.

looks like a new PB/ weight estimation
decided to head on down to the everglades and fish some of the canals and within 15 minutes of getting there i landed this . Unfortunately i didnt put my lipper in my book bag so i wasnt able to weigh it. I was hoping some of you guys could give me a weight estimation. The pic was taken with a camera phone and beleive me it does the fish no justice

What line do you prefer to use?
10 and 12# sufix siege.

current curado 100dsv vs daiwa sol...
i own the the sol and its definately worth the money. Its silky smooth and casts the lightest lures i own a country mile. i cast 1/8 ounce lures with absolutely no problem. the only thing i dont like about it is the fact that it doesnt have a clicking drag star like the curado, For the applications you need it for i would still go with the sol
