I took it out for a spin yesterday. Casts like a dream.I haven't bought the reel for it yet,so I had the PQ on it.It was a little heavy.Im either getting the Tatula SV or another CT to throw on it next week.Going to be a blast to throw when I pair it up right.That rod is so light for a heavy,and feels great in the hands.Glad I bought it.

Anything from Yum and Havoc are the best bang for your buck if you ask me. As for hard baits i catch so many on a 6$ SK 1.5 that I won't even consider a 20$ S-crank,it's unnecessary. Also my PB came on a 7$ Booyah Pad Crasher. For the price of an S-crank i can buy the 1.5 ,2.5 and 3xd in bluegill

You buy stuff to figure out what you like.Sometimes it's useless.Comes with the game.Think of it as you trying to figure out your style.

My GF chucks 1.5s on her pink 5'6" BPS lady lite! I hate taking her because i spend more time unhooking her fish than i do fishing.Never once has she caught a bluegill on it either.No need to go all out on a pan fish rig.

That's my exact jig setup.Turn the magforce to 0,adjust spool tension so the lure doesn't overrun when it hits the ground.Turn the magforce back to 5-6 and have at it. Don't try to throw the lure across the pond and you'll be fine.

How heavy of a lure were you throwing and what's the top end of the lure rating on the rod?

I saw him with Soundgarden for the reunion tour as well,that was amazing.Even better,I saw him solo on the Higher Truth tour at the Hanover theater in Worcester,MA.Such a small venue.His solo stuff was truly awesome.
