Good lures for Grass and Sand lakes
I fish in a private lake in Southern Jersey. It is weird because it has grass up to the surface, very light grass and a sand bottom. It is also usually windy and a small lake. What lures should I throw?

Soft Bottom Baits
Spinnerbaits, Jerkabaits, and Senkos. They are all around good baits. If water is not crystal clear, spinnerbait all the way.

Winter Jig Trailers
Just remain it the same unless the bass are really finik. Throw a ned rig on another rod and if the are hitting the ned rig and not the jig, downsize the trailer. Zoom chunks are good as well as berkley powerbait, chigger craw.

Frog Fishing... HELP!!!
You are not doing anything wrong, but don't skim it across the surface. Wlak the dog, although it is hard on weed edges try to walk it. The gear is perfect and Spro frogs, hands down are the best at walking and just good frogs. Keep fishing the frog and overcast days are better. Don't get discouraged becuase it is hard to hook the fish when you finally get the bite.
