Do y'all think this little front messed them up? Planning on heading up on the morning.

I been seeing a lot of people catching on jigs. I've only fished soft plastics since I've been bass fishing. What are some good jigs and trailers I should buy and what colors? Also how do you fish jigs? I have zero experience with them. Want to try to get out my comfort zone and start catching fish. Thanks

Went all day today mainly fished Carolina rig In 6 to 15 foot of water, Managed 5 fish all day. Still can't figure what I'm doing wrong. Looks like most people smoked them to day on the Toledo fishing report Facebook page.

Yea I just haven't had much luck on Toledo. I'm trying to learn though. I hate to make a 2 hour drive on a bad day. What patterns should I try? I'll be fishing from the Texas islands south.

That's awesome. I fished the flats in Housen everywhere from 5-20 foot with a Carolina rig. Got 3 bites all day. I been fishing Toledo for a while but just getting serious about it and really struggling over the past couple years. Unless it's the spawn I can't seem to catch them.

I been following this thread for a while and decided to join the forum. I fished Saturday in housen. Caught 2.... it's pretty obvious I don't know what I'm doing. Still trying to learn the lake and different patterns but it's getting pretty old going to Toledo and not catching anything then get home seeing most people had a awesome weekend and caught a bunch of fish. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Guess there's always next weekend. Good luck eveybody!
