  5. lay lake works well . use green pumpkin red finesse worm on bullet sinker or shaky head jig . find rocky points, work slow waxahatchie creek is good. as it warms up, red eyed shad , rattling roage, and a pop r. work as well. spots seem to like the rock. tight lines
  6. we have got over 150 now. dang sure feels good to be on the water again! dont miss the indiana cold weather either. this sat, headed for texas to try the bass. that doc had mw laid up so long i feel like i broke out of jail!! update on crappie . they seem to be leaving the brush piles ,biteing closer to the bank,like they are starting to head in to spawn. most everything we have been catching is 10 to 14 inches. very fat!!
  7. very satisfied with the revo stx . my cousin has been using them for years now and said they even replaced a reel of other model that wasnt made any more with an upgrade. no questions ask. i personally have not used the lews ,but my friend peter t thilvarous and his son nick use them and like them nick got a whole new lews outfit for christmas . you can check out his site at petertfishing.com sorry for late response , in alabama fishing. tight lines lonnie

  10. they are up to 70 now. nothing under 10 inches. I'm leaving in the morning. a man can only take so much!!

  14. I drag a finesse worm no sinker over the top let drop in holes.do let her run a bit before set. or a small lizard same way. do you have to clean moss some times ,yes. it is cool when they blow up thru the thinner moss tho tough fishing, but in hot weather those big ones love laying under it.

    my thoughts are with his family. I'm sure between fishing and nursing he touched a lot of lives. may we use his influence as a teaching guide.
