Bend Crazy

A good map showing the boat lanes. Texas has done a terrible job on keeping the east / west marker buoys in place on lanes 4, 6 and 8. Plus Rayburn does not have lane markers and I want to fish it more this year but hesitant on running from Cassel Boykin to Black Forrest and across the lake to Harvey, Five Fingers etc.

So would this site be a better option? - http://www.boatlanes.com/ or is the product bad?

Hello All, I have been on the lake since Wednesday afternoon and for me the fishing has been terrible. I am working on finding deep fish and it is harder than you would think. Water temperatures are as follows; Caney Creek - 63 lots of shad no fish, Friday Housan Bay 59-60 some shad but did not find the Bass, today fished Oil Well Branch for the first time, did not find shad but found the fish on deep points, temperature started at 56 in AM and ended at 58, boated 5. Quick question - new to forum, if I save this link will any new pages come up or will I always go to page 234?

Finally got on the water at 3:00 PM and fished till 5:30 PM.Water temperature was 55.5 all over the Pirates area. Found Shad from 16 - 35 feet but no fish around them. Picked up one Yellow Bass in 33 feet. Tried Dropshot Jigging Spoon and Football jigs. Not a good report but better than sitting at home watching T.V. Major wind tomorrow from the south, 25 MPH may have to trailer over to Texas.

Hello Gents, Just joined the forum this morning. Will be heading to the Bend later today to look deep for some big bass. Will let you know what I find. After this cold front I think they will be back out deep, I hope.
