If you could only limit yourself to 1 rod, 1 reel, and 3 lures ( soft plastics w/ hooks or other lure ) what would you chose ?... I have an idea of what i would!

Living in Canada is amazing and has a large variety of fish species to offer. However, I'm debating whether i should take a trip to Texas to try to break my personal best. The question is, is it worth spending the time and money to travel to southern Texas. I'm hoping you guys can maybe make a pros and cons list, excluding the price. Thx

If there is this so called "new pflueger president " i cannot comment much. However, the latest model i purchased is by far one of the best spinning reels ever... especially under 100$ anyways

Epps is awesome, i get deals on let's all the time there... last year i bought my BB1 for 110$ CAD and redo s for 90$ CAD

since you're a walleye angler and bass fisherman, here's what i'd get: - 6'6 fenwick eagle medium spinning / Pflueger president ( walleye and bass dropshot ) - 7'1 abu garcia veritas medium heavy baitcaster/ lew's BB1 speed spool ( flipin n pitchin ) - 7'1 fenwick HMG medium baitcaster/ Abu garcia revo s ( crankbaits ) - 7'0 cabela's pro guide medium heavy baitcaster / let's american hero speed spool ( beater rod, bring it in the bush and don't worry about scratching it ) the only thing that breaks the bank is the bb1

i agree with everyone else that says it sounds like the level wind... should've spent the extra $ and got the BB1

For Smallmouth, i find mustard or puke colour tubes work best. However, i would throw the zoom ultra vibe craw on a shaky head or Texas rig for largemouth.

i was looking on tackle warehouse today, and it appeared that the lew's speed spool has gone up from 132$ to 199$... I bought mine when it was 132$, and its awesome, but is it really worth 200$? Is their better reels out there? What do you guys and girls think ?
