Did you put mono backing on it and then the 30lb braid?

I mean it's a really small chip out of it would it get bigger if I'm fishing it a lot or easier to snap?

So I just bought the new dobyns champion rod and noticed that there is a little chip in the epoxy that they put around the guide. Was wondering if I should send that back or is it still good to fish since it's not hitting the line?

Wanting to talk about the difference between a seirra spinning rod from dobyns compared to the champion spinning dobyns rod. Is that balance, sensitivity that much better for a 80 dollar difference? Also is the 703 a very good versatile rod for both of these?

Now I have a daiwa Procyon 2500 which would you recommend to get between the rods? I know avid x has better balance but the dobyns has better sensitivity which one do you like? What reel do you have on it? Then why did you choose that? The sensitivity of it. Does it have good balance?

Now I have a daiwa Procyon 2500. So it's lighter than your 3000 Stradic will that help with it not being so tip heavy? Would you go with more sensitive with your rod or balance? Also why do you not like micro guides I don't have a pole with em and was looking into them.

Ya I was looking at the 842 rod because it says it's more versatile? Can it preform more better all around with drop shot and plastics. Since the dropshot rod it's clearly for dropshots and not leaning towards plastics. Which line and model would you prefer then?

I'm looking into getting a g loomis spinning rod, but I want it to be versatile. I want to do dropshots and throw plastics etc. so with that being said should I was looking into the e6x dropshot rod or the spinning rod to do all those which one would you recommend or a different rod?
