    I recommend two knots the uni to uni knot illustration found here www.fish4fun.com/Joining2Lines.htm the other is a bit more complicated, but I use it when the leader material is a bit thicker than the braid its a bimini twist to a no name knot found here http://www.hatterasoutfitters.com/no_name_knot.htm
