I’m looking for a new reel for square bill and small/medium diving crankbaits like 3xds. I currently have a lews bb1 pro but was looking into switching things up. I am a big shimano fan and was looking into a new metanium. Any recommendations I’m not worried about the price as long as it will hold up for awhile.

No I’ve only used it once for freshwater but it was stuck before I used it.

I purchased a shimano curado dc a few months ago and noticed the brake dial is real tight and won’t go to the 4 setting while I don’t need it there I still want to know if I can fix it. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

I want to know what size hook to use when fishing with a minnow i have always used a size 4 when fishing for white perch. Will a size 4 hook work with a minnow when fishing for white perch?

All I have is drop shot weights for bottom fishing I don't have bank sinkers for live bait fishing. Is it ok to use the drop shot weights or should I buy bank sinkers?

I currently use 30 lb p-line tcb8 braid as wanted to try s copolymer because I have problems with fluorocarbon. Should I use a coplomer for something else? Will braid be fine or will that cause problems too?

I currently have a shimano Sedona 5000 and want to convert the handle to a power handle. Am I even able to change it and how?

I know this topic has been addressed but I have more questions. I want to use dt6s and deep diving crankbaits and wanted to know will braid affect the depth of the bait? Also what brand fluorocarbon would you recommend if braid doesn't let the bait reach max depth? I have used seguar yellow label and after one day my line was trashed. Any information is greatly appreciated.
