Girlfriend and hobbies?
In my opinion if someone really cares about you they'll make compromises for you even if they don't like it just to see you happy. But this is a two way street. Work out times when you can fish while she's at work/ school/ etc.. unless she literally has nothing to do then you two gotta find middle ground. I had a buddy that had this problem whenever his girlfriend had free time she wanted to see him. Which was like every single day and he would say he wanted some alone time and she would get so pissy about it.. They didn't last long after that needless to say. Personally I'd tell her to give me some breathing room especially if you haven't been together long. Clingy can be cute sometimes and it feels good to be wanted but I get irritated when someone is constantly all over me I can't stand it. Is it hard to find woodworking shops or did you buy your own machines? I took woodshop 3 years in high school and I was in love with it. I've seen woodworking classes around my area but I've never looked into them. My hopes are to build my own little shop when I get my own place.

Knot suggestions
You guys are awesome thanks for all the info. I am using 8lb monofilament right now. My buddy has told me to get braided line as it is stronger but I am okay with the line I am using right now. I'm gonna try a few of these and see which I like best!

Gander Mountain Closing
I'm pretty sure the only location around me is closing down as well. I haven't shopped for fishing gear online yet I have to hold it and look at it before I buy it.

Knot suggestions
I understand that I can Google tons of knots but I would like to see what a larger amount of people use. I've only been using what I believe is called a clinch knot and I'm guessing the most basic one.

Will they bite again?
I'm not sure if I hooked the same fish but I ran a crankbait down the same set of spawn beds (about 15 yards) and my buddy and I caught 10-15 largemouths in around an hour. They might've just been super aggressive around their beds though.

Media Help
I think it might be the resolution I resize it to. The picture is crystal clear on my phone and on the website but when I bring it over to post it it becomes blurry. Hence my profile picture, but it won't let me put any files larger than that for it

Media Help
I've been using tinypic so far to upload photos to here because all the pictures on my phone are too big of a file size. Tiny pic is alright but it doesn't do any pictures justice because it makes them look grainy. Anyone have a solution or a better picture sharing website I can use? I tried downsizing the files in my phone but haven't had any luck.

Protecting your equipment
I need to invest in some protection. I have a warranty but sometimes I'll be walking and the tip of my rod will scrape the ground and I cringe

Just a beginner
Hey everybody! I'm Scott and I am a relatively new fisherman. At the moment I mostly fish for bass but do have plans to go catfishing here soon (good eatin'). I live in Northeastern Ohio and I generally Fish at Veterans Park in mentor headlands or Hidden lake in Leroy (both freshly stocked not too long ago). I'm 20 years old and I work thirds so I mostly go around 7 a.m. right when I get off work. You just can't beat the cool mornings with birds chirping and fish nibbling. As I said I'm relatively new so any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
