  1. I’ve found 3/0 finesse wide gap to be effective
  2. 1. I bought a spool of 17 pound trilene 300 yards 2. I put it on baitcaster A in the spring, not all the line 3. I used the line on baitcaster A, then took it off in the summer for another line 4. I haven’t used the line that was still in the spool untill now. 5. I bought baitcaster B 6. I used put the spool of line to put on baitcaster B. 7. Now the line on Baitcaster B is all full of memory. hope it helps for my lack of explanation.
  3. I saw McCoy is on Tackle Warehouse so I’m leaning towards that or sunline super natural.
  4. I bought the spool for last spring for the same thing and took off line and now that I got another bait casting combo, I put the same spool of line back on (it was a 300 yard spool). I apologize for the confusion
  5. Hello all, I would like to get some monofilament for topwater plugs and spinnerbaits. I have used trilene XL and it worked for a while but when I put it back on, it’s all coiled and full of memory.
  6. Haven’t held a doblyns rod but I do have an avid x spinning rod. It casts far and is very sensitive. It may be a little stiff but I have an medium power fast action so that’s where I get the stiff feeling from.
  7. I have heard though on reviews on tackle warehouse that the grip on the GLX has a bad grip and gets uncomfortable after fishing it. I use one finger in front of the trigger part for my grip on a casting rod if that helps.
  8. I do like the graphene part of the g rods line. But I like the long warranty’s of the St. Croix line and g rods but have heard about the St. Croix Rods being tip heavy. I do like the guides on the legend elite also.
  9. I have my options limited down to these rods. I need help picking one
  10. For spinning reels, I’d go nanofill 14lb or 10 pound powerpro. Can’t go wrong with either
  11. It was on pflugers website of the spinning XT, they gave a 5 star review and then complained about it.
  12. Hello all, I came across a gift card to amazon and decide to use it on a new spinning reel. I am looking at the Pflueger Supreme XT. Anyone use it before? I have read a review that any braid over 15 is hard to get through the line guide and gets stuck, I dont know if that is true or just a bad review. I am going to get a 350 size and use it for Salmon, Steelhead and Pike. I have a St. Croix premier 7ft medium heavy for it. Patrick
  13. Hello all, I am potientally looking at a custom rod. I have around 400-450$ to spend. I would be looking at a casting rod that can fix as a all purpose rod so about a 7ft Medium Heavy power, Fast action rod. I thought about ALX or Kitsler but can’t decide.
  14. Oh, don’t they have different action and power sets?
  15. What would be the difference between this series and legend tournament bass?
  16. Hello everyone, Has anyone used the RipStop yet? It looks different then your typical jerkbaits.
  17. What rod brand and series would you reccomend?
  18. For the GLX, I’ve heard bad reviews about the grip. Is that true for the GLX?
  19. I have an avid X spinning rod but it’s a little on the stiff side. I like the Daemos, the legend Elite, and a couple of the Daiwa rods caught my eye, (the Steez xt, zillion), and the NRX. So far those are my options.
  20. It’s a little over my budget but I’ve heard a lot of good reviews.
  21. Hey all, What is everyone’s thoughts on the G. Loomis NRX? It’s pricy so want to see if it’s worth it. Would get it for an all purpose rod, don’t know which of them I would get. Thanks
  22. Hello all, I am looking at the St. Croix Legend Elite And Legend X. I recently posted a thread about “High End Rods” And had a lot of good comments on the Megabass Daemos as well as a couple other rod brands. Now I am looking at the legend Elite And Legend X.
  23. I saw their prices and thought, Wow. What does the Demo rod mean?
  24. So back on the daemos, how does it preform casting wise, sensitivity and hooksetting wise? I figured if I’m spending a lot on this rod, I want to make sure it’s good.
  25. I went to their website and the z bones are all custom rods. So my final total before discount is $650
