I wrap the weedguard with aluminum foil and leave it on till its cured. Works for me

Larry Dahlberg is definitely the man when it comes to making his own baits from scratch. He teaches you about all the different reactions of material and shape. Plus he has the most awesome request for when he passes away. He wants to be cremated and part of his ashes made into a bait and someone fish with it and when they hook a good one cut the line and let the fish have him. Very cool idea

I use a round toothpick to clean out the eye while the paint is still workable. You may have to heat the head a little more to keep the eye open. But then the toothpick slides right out

I wrap the weed guard with aluminum foil. Leave it on till after you cure the head and mine stay attached and straight. If you heat it up without wrapping the weed guard the guard spreads out like a fan and does not work

Its almost impossible to set a price because once you have one mold and you catch a fish on something vyou made yourself you just created a monster of yourself. You will buy mold after mold until your wife puts a stop to it
