Side imaging doesn't work unless you are moving?
I have an Elite 9ti and was fishing about 6 feet of water and anchored, and soon as the boat would stop, side imaging would just make everything on the screen look like streaks. I assume that's normal since it's continuously pinging the same thing, but how do you see fish and shad move in? We rely heavily on this feature when wiper fishing, and it works perfectly when moving, even very slightly.

Will batteries low on water create interference on depth finder?
That makes sense. It amazes me they don't shield this stuff at the factory. We shouldn't spend thousands on electronics only to have issues.

Will batteries low on water create interference on depth finder?
Not yet, I have not had a chance to do it while I was on the water. The main issue seems to be when I am actually using the trolling motor. With everything that I have done to separate the depth finder system from the starting battery and trolling motor batteries I just don't see what else I can possibly do as far as that. What I was thinking was since the trolling motor batteries were the ones that were low, maybe the motor pulling such a strain on batteries that have exposed cells would somehow create more interference. Is there anything you would recommend on top of what I have already done?

Will batteries low on water create interference on depth finder?
I hadn't maintained my batteries for a while, and they ran out of juice last time out. When I got back they were both so low on water it took 3/4 gal of water to fill up... Will exposed cells create interference? I also recently bought a new Lowrance Elite 9ti (hooked to MG Xi5) and have been having interference issues, but I've done a LOT to address this: standalone battery, transducer cable runs opposite trolling power cables, transducer mounted properly on transom, clip on rf chokes at both ends of tm power wires and transducer cable, and common ground between 24 and 12v systems. Having its own lawnmower battery definitely helped, but there's still something giving a small amount of interference. Not sure what else it could be. Batteries are full of water now and I'll be going again soon. It blows my mind since the depth finder is its own complete separate system from the boat now. Any ideas or experience on this would be awesome. I know the power control module in the trolling motor itself gives off interference too. Maybe that's it. Is there anyways to address this?

Any good lipless one knockers?
Good info on the company. They had a great line of lures. Everything they made was excellent quality, great colors, and worked. I but like 20 citrus shad and 20 chrome black in various sizes and styles from TW before they discontinued them. Never tried Rayburn. Heard the Booyah version color is off though. If you see any chrome black Xcalibur one knockers in 50, 75, or 100 I'm definitely interested. How much for the Viscious, and are they chrome black? That color works better than anything here. It's like they won't even touch chrome blue. Ghost minnow looks good for where I'm at. Are you talking about the extreme vibe?

Favorite Spinnerbaits?
Terminator Titanium. Last for years and never have to screw with the wire. I use Picasso Colorado blades on them and change the skirts around.

Any good lipless one knockers?
Hell of a reply haha. Hi-Tek made Xcalibur. Pradco has owned Booyah, and eventually bought Hi-Tek, which of course included the Xcalibur line. Why they would try to make their own version of the original colors I have no clue. Plus dropping a ton of the best colors and the 1oz size was a horrible move. Apparently they haven't looked on eBay at the prices of basically everything they are not making anymore. I picked up a 3/4oz 2 tap chrome and black, so we'll see how that does. I generally put triple grip hooks on, but have been thinking about trying something else. They seem to get dull fairly easily, and bend pretty often too. Wiper will put a strain on your gear for sure.

Any good lipless one knockers?
Been doing that for a while now. All I use is chrome and black and they're expensive. With them being discontinued anyways, it's time to move on unfortunately. Just shows that Xcaliburs company cared more about the money from Booyah than they did continuing to make awesome fishing lures. For the price there was nothing even close in quality.

Any good lipless one knockers?
Looking for a replacement to the Xcalibur One Knocker. Booyah is amazingly dumb for dropping all the good colors, and their customer service has said they are making them again, then they say they're not next time I inquire, so it's time to move on. Not paying 20 or more for these. Are there any other one knocker style lures? They consistently catch more fish over lures with multiple rattlers. Preferably up to 1oz. I use from the 25 to the 100 size for different fish.

BEST RATTLE TRAP???
Xcalibur XR50 chrome and black one knocker. Best all around lure I've ever used. Now made by Booyah, and chrome and black will be released soon.

Ok, what is your pricing like? I have lipless cranks, spinnerbaits, and some shallow divers

Who can paint lures professionally?
Does anyone on here paint lures professionally for a reasonable price? Have some lures that have caught so many fish the paint is gone and I'm wanting to get them done in a way not offered by the manufacturer.

Line for Deep Cranks
I use Seaguar Red Label for pretty much everything. Usually costs 10-15 a spool, is 100% fluorocarbon, and flat out works.

Deep crankbaits in farm ponds. What would you use?
If someone could come up with a treatment that would only kill zebra mussels, they'd be a rich man. Only benefit to them is they usually make the water more clear. Zebra mussels and Asian carp can both go to hell.

Shimano Calais 200Dc
I just got this handle, and ordered an Antares DC on eBay (I like the 5.8:1 ratio). Did you have to put any washers to space out the handle from the drag star, or do any modifying to make it work?

How far from Emporia? Shouldn't be too far. I could probably take some of those off your hands. I fish a lot of Baby 1 Minus, in fact, I have a box that has nothing but those. Probably caught more fish on that than any other lure. We work the bank and trees a lot. It's been hot here though and we aren't catching them like normal, which brought me to trying deep. Been thinking about trying it for a couple years actually. This site gets replies a lot better than some other forums. Appreciate the replies. Keep your suggestions coming!
