  1. You could be using too small of a hook. I like a 4/0 ewg for the 5 inch model. If your cover is sparse I would suggest wacky rigging, you get a good hook-up percentage.
  2. I liked yours so Ill probably copy it. Minus the Cardiff of course ;D
  3. Thanks. Ill check some prices for a 7'9"-8'0"-er.
  4. Ive got a 7'0" XH Carrot stick rated 1/2-2oz and was wondering if it was too short for bigger, lets say 6 inch hard swimbaits. Thanks
  5. They were 119.00 at mine so I couldnt get it because I was 10.00 short >. I did see the tour edition for 150 though. I need a rod more than a reel.
  6. The bouncy master is back
  7. Thanks LBH and Burley.
  8. Great vid What swimbait were you throwing that it showed you rubbing stuff on it? Burley let me throw his saturday at dinkmasters so now I want one lol.
  9. I have that crappy BASS game, it sucks. The one I play most is Monopoly and it was free on my phone. I got a demo for TowerBlox and it was suprisingly awsome but I never got the full version.
  10. Welcome Im glad the BC came to you quickly. It took me forever lol.
  11. Ive got a handful of them but a spinning combo is the only thing that works well with them. On a BC the line rubs the foam so you can only cast about 10 feet.
  12. Thanks a ton. I wont touch a shimano but ye old quantum is cool.
  13. I had some friends do that recently, too. Ive gotten in to kayaking in the last few months. I dont get to go often though. So far Im just class II but hopefully Ill work on up.
  14. I hope someone appreciates this ;D From Urbandictionary Teeny Bopper An odd species of n00b that displays the following traits... -Fond of MTV, Good Charlotte, the like. -Plumage usually black with hot pink mixed in, markings usually in the form of the words "Punk Princess." -Natural watering hole is a chatroom, where they use their mating call, which sounds like this. "LOL!!!111!Z liek aslz!143e12!!!" Easiest way to kill them is disembowelment. Don't go for the head, they're like roaches. The "plumage" part cracks me up.
  15. Id like to meet the mudster. Maybe he'll come to the next roadtrip.
  16. Are the bouncies dedicated to muddy?
  17. I thought that was my boat for a second. I have the same depthfinder but mines in the front and the carpet, seats, and pedestalls are very similar. Also my seat is up maybe 6in to make room for a storage hole. Ill try to get some better pics thursday and post them here.
  18. I second or third a Diawa reel. Any of their $200+ reels are great. My favorite would be the sol but it is more of a finesse BC. Using it for heavier stuff would be neglecting its capabilities IMO so if your in to the heavier stuff go with a zillion.
  19. Thats one of the funniest things Ive read in a while, thanks for posting.
  20. I gave up buying reels from chain stores.
  21. I ALWAYS have to bite a little bit off the end of my plastics. Especially with jigs, it helps them fit better when you push the plastic to the lead.
  22. If your on a low budget you might want to get a rod you can do several things with. I would suggest a 7'0" rod, MH F. You can flip, pitch, or cast with ease. For a specific brand/type I would go with a TD S rod. My daiwa rods have taken some abuse and they run around 100.00. I guess I should mention a megaforce looks pretty sweet on a TDS
  23. We had to borrow one from the local cattle market. Lol. Who was it that brought in bluegill, that was pretty great. That would have been Mike and I. And had we weighed it, we would have won. Probably would have. Ive seen minnow traps that looked better than our total bags ;D

  25. What do you all do when your stuck inside and your not on BR? One web site I like is *, you can search a normal word and get crazy definitions, I love it. One of my favorites is: Anne Frank--Hide and seek champion 1941-1944.
