I use a 1/4 oz panther martin silver spinner. It basically catches anything that swims in the rivers here

What I wanted to know was if anyone else had used the combo reel before and if so was it worth using. That way I would buy another reel on sale for the holiday if it wasnt.

What do you mean by die? Also how long does that generally take?

A few months ago I got a Berkley Lightning Rod Combo at Cabela's on sale. The only reason I got it was because I heard the rod was good and the combo with reel was worth less than the rod by itself. I got the spinning combo and I was just wondering if the reel is good or not and if I should just buy another spinning reel to use.

Is the Limited edition better than the XT? To me they seem like the same reel basically.

I too have a problem with setting the hook with senkos except for me I end up hooking the fish too late and it ends up almost getting swallowed

Yeah but it was less than half a pound and it came up with the broken mouth

So i'm new to bass fishing and I have only ever caught bass on the senko worms on a wacky rig. However, everytime I set the hook, it ends up coming out around the nostrils. How should I change my hook setting technique. Also today I caught a bass and I broke its mouth do you think it will live?
