  1. I could not do it I just couldn't make the switch I'm sorry fellas but I went with mhm sclll graphite. I changed the order.
  2. I misread your comment sorry bout that ,but that is a good question ? I was reading on some other rod building thread that you can seal a used cork handle but you need to sand it a little bit before you seal it but hey I've never done it so take that as you will.
  3. Yeah this is an new rod I should have it in a couple of days so it'll be a new rod I'm sealing the old rods I'm not sealing those peicees of junk.
  4. My pb is 5.4 and I wish I could have had it replicated how much would i have to spend to get a replica of my next pb if it was maybe 6 pounds? Has anyone done it?
  5. I'm definitely going to have to go look for some, I want to be fishing by the weekend. i never seald the cork on any rod.
  6. Anything over 5 pounds is mount worthy in my opinion but it's up to you how your going to do it. Personally i would take a photo measurements and get a replica.
  7. I have a rod comming in a few days but I forgot to order u40 and I was wondering if there was an alternative cork sealer readily available at most hardware stores? Any input would be much appreciated.
  8. How did I not know this!
  9. I know that a fish strikes a lot of the time when you bump up against a rock, stump or whatever structure but I've always wondered why? Is this something that happens with bait fish do they swim into rocks and get stunned for a second it's funny thinking about it but I don't think fish bump their heads up against rocks and branches and junk, lol.
  10. Good all around rod . Unless the tip is extremely fast than cranking would be a bit of an issue but I don't think that's the case with your rod I felt them before and I think that will be a problem you can get away with most applications. Let know what happens.
  11. Yes it's plenty good, you don't need a ton of drag unless your fishing in a lot of cover and slop and if you were doing that I doubt you would be using a spinning reel.
  12. Bummer, I got one on the way it's on back order can't wait to try it out.lawl

  17. Definitely that's what I was thinking I been using graphite forever and it's been tuff to make the switch for mid diving baits and shallow diving square bills but I think it's time to try it out. 15% off Labor Day sale had to get it. I will post pics when it gets here.
  18. To late brothers I ordered it I went with the target cranker 610 glass see what happens thanks
  19. I've got my finger on the button I'm ready to make that order. Big dilemma what rod to get for crank baits square bills. Target cranker or 7 mhmf mojo?
  20. The kvd frog has a bad rap but it's a really durable good looking frog good colors and the skirt material is way better than the booyah pad crashers. The kvd frog needs simple adjustments take out the rattle so the frog collapses easily. Bend the hooks slightly if needed. I caught my first frog fish on a kvd frog.
