  1. I have that exact jig same color it a good jig. I payed like 4bucks for one at dicks.
  2. Thanks for the replys I'm gonna do my homework and stay within my budget. One thing is for sure I'll be saying goodbye to bank fishing soon enough!
  3. The more I look into it and the more brands I see the more I think 1000 bucks ain't gonna cut it. I like the wilderness ride 115 tho it's seems like that's the kind of boat I want.
  4. I had a Powell deisel and that thing was a broom stick of a rod, strong but it was pretty darn heavy for a mf rod good brand but I'll have to go with at croix. They'll both probably break but you'll get a new one back from st croix.
  5. Has anybody tried the Pelican catch 120?
  6. Lol yeah I rekon you have a point there.
  7. I fish lakes and ill transport it on the back of a small ford ranger pickup.
  8. shimano excels above all other reels imo!
  9. i like both temple fork outfitters and saint croix hmmm tuff decision? I pick st croix!
  10. I own both aswell both are good rods ducketts blanks are stronger but the is to be expected at its price point the blackout is well worth the 80$ and hasn't let me down.
  11. The new vendetta and the shimano caenan.
  12. No I'm talking about the bass x its new that's why you can't find it look at tackle direct web site they have em.
  13. New st croix bass x line of rods are 100 bucks good warranty. Just came out new at Icast.
  14. Fish slow it's the dogs days of summer, I would stick with a big worm when it's hot summer I approach things much like I would in the winter the fish are hot and don't want to move from cover but they are active and looking for a big meal. I think fishing a big ribbon tail worm slow slow slow will get you a catch or a crawling a football jig.
  15. Looks cool I have a ghost and I love the blanks on that rod. The blanks ducketts uses are very light and strong sensitive as well. Down side is the guides on there rods have had a few changes kinda hit and miss I don't trust ducketts anymore.
  16. Since you have curados already you should know these basic maintenance instructions mentioned above I feel after doing these applications to your reel and you still get no good results to your problems, call shimano they do have pretty good customer service.
  17. I have not fished any of these reels but I would go with the zillion if I had the opportunity of choosing one.
  18. Take it back asap send it back! You already know what a curado is supposed to perform like so return it.! You can also call shimano but I think you'll have to pay shipping I had a similar issue with my citica I. I called shimano and they have pretty good customer service he told me to ship it to him and they would fix any issues I don't even think they were going to charge me however I ended up finding my tw invoice paper and sent it back to tw and they sent me a new one.
  19. Sweet looking rods tw doesn't have them yet scll blanks not bad at all. Can't wait to see the specs on these rods I'm definitely in the market for a new spinnerbait rod. Decent color seems like all the new rods this year from most companies are mainly black.
