  1. I think so personally but if he throws heavier weight then he is going to need a get a heavier weighted rod. I fish for striper and I don't throw any sinkers heavier than 1 ounce. That's just me tho.
  2. Ugly stick striper rod and a 3000 sounds good to me. Diawa Lexa is a good recommendation.
  3. I think I'll take that shiny one mister, thank you very much.
  4. Yeah I was trolling threw tw but they are totally out of the bd2s. Very nice order my brother, those are some very productive colors in my neck of the woods.
  5. What color and type of rod will you be pairing up with this reel?
  6. Well then by all means continue with the arsenal my brother!
  7. Time to save up for a jon boat or fishing kayak you seem to have what you need for the moment maybe start focusing on a boat for now.
  8. 631 I fish mainly mid divers and squarebills so I see no reason to go 541 or less.
  9. This was the last and only one that was this color.
  10. Your good bro sx 30 matches perfectly I had the had the Stx 20 on a 6'6 medium rod and it matched just fine the 30 is perfect for a 7' foot rod.
  11. Go with a casitas it's a great reel 631 is slow enough and the braking system is just freaking awesome. It's well within your budget.
  12. I do believe that the nasci 3000 size weighs 10 ounces
  13. I own this reel in the 3000 size i got it when it first came out less than a year ago and I've started to have some issues with it I really wish I would have spent a little more and gotten something better my plans are to give it to my brother and get a nasci, you get what you pay for, it's still a nice little reel however.
  14. I actually want to pair up this combo 2500 naci and a 6'8 mojo for wacky rigging and soft plastics. I think you should go with the 2500 the 3000 seems heavy for such a light rod in your case.
  15. I would go with the 6'8 personally. I don't think you'll have a problem with balance because the nasci 2500 is a light reel now the 3000 would pair up way better with 7 foot rod.
  16. I use a shark wire leader for my finesse presentations. Great for drop shots and 3/16 ounce jigs.
  17. I agree to some degree about the asking price of the casitas, after taxes the reel was almost 130$ I think the reel should at least have x ship other than that the reel is very decent but I think it should be in the 100 price point.

  19. 7 medium heavy moderate fast.
  20. Casitas is better the braking system is the same as the curado70 the caenan is good to but has the braking system of a curadoi without the adjustment dial I have the new casitas and I it's one of my new favorite reels rite now I use it more than my curadoi I had the older caenan that was also a really good reel.
  21. Small Black Friday order couldn't pass up. Been wanting this cobra rod rack since it came out this year at Icast.
  22. I've only been targeting bass for ten years but I'm in my late late 30s so I'm not young but I was just messing with the old timers.
