  1. I agree, with the exception of rapala I probably invest in some squarebills maybe lucky craft.
  2. I don't plan on catching or eating carp again but I at least can say that I tried it before I hated it I do know some people like em I'm just curious who and why and how they made there fish. I usually catch carp on corn and they are usually from 3 to 6 pounds in the lakes here I took two 5 pounders home and watched a video on how to properly clean and eat and even from a five pound carp you don't get a lot of meat. Chewy suckers I'll tell you.

    I agree
  4. Looks tasty i would have fried that puppy up quick!
  5. Ok I am not the type of person to say I don't like something without trying it so I fried up some carp and it was nasty so I tried it again in the oven and it was nasty and it was a lot of work cleaning it. Anyone here like carp if so how do you cook it?
  6. I usually only eat planted trout but I used to eat farm pond bass crappie blue gill all the time but catfish I will eat no matter what unless it comes out the sewer system or something. I don't eat fish more than once a week fish have murcury no matter what body of water they come out of.
  7. Good choice , go 6'8 next time then try 7 I like 6'8 for bank fishing. Anyhow 6'6 is perfect for the bank.
  8. I really have to narrow it down to three different baits that I personally will mainly purchase or look at when I buy spinnerbaits war eagle termanators 1 and pepper custom. I have to also add that I started with booyah and they are the best budget spinnnerbaits in my book.
  9. I'm so sorry for your loss.
  10. All the rain has made a lot of flooded water to come into the lakes making it for some merky conditions but California is not in the clear yet but we sure are in a way better place now than we were and that's great news. 60% of our state is still in the red zone some very severe. a lot of the dried up fisheries lost a lot of fish over the years some lakes and ponds were completely drained. It does look good right now though and that is extremely refreshing.
  11. Great review. Good fish!
  12. Yup that was me, I also did say that some of their baits were staples in my arsenal and the shadrap is definitely one of them and the reason for that is because you can throw it anytime I can go out to a pond right now and probably catch a good bass in the summer I can catch em,so all around it's a great bait. It wouldn't be my go to squarebill but I could still throw it in summer and catch them maybe not as good as I would with a squarebill but it works in the dig days of summer so it is definitely one of the best crankbaits to have and a must have I believe in every anglers arsenal. Is rapala my favorite brand, no but this bait deserves its place as best all year summer spring fall and winter bass catching crankbait.
  13. Best crankbait you can throw all year is probably a shadrap.
  14. Interesting I have always used a mhf I don't know if I would want a moderate fast for jigs? Nonetheless I have always had my eye on those tcs rods.
  15. I think you should just spend an extra 30 bucks Crusty. why use scll when you can have sclll mojo ? I have a couple and plan on getting another.
  16. That's pretty funny! Imagine that! lol
  17. Yes, great show hard to forget some of those classic catch phrases from Seinfeld. Funny stuff, makes me miss the 90s.
  18. I would have said kvd just a few months ago but since I've been watching Scott Martins YouTube channel you get to see the personality of a person and he seem like the cooler one.
  19. How much are you trying to spend? Because you could use something inexpensive for jerk baits I use a cheap 6'6 vengeance mf and it does the job you don't need a hole lot of sensitivity for trebles but the vengeance has enough for me for now at least I also use it for some cranking, poppers and light spinnerbaits I plan on upgrading to the st croix mojo jerk bait rod for next season.
