Best line for clear water ?

I fish a deep clear water reservoir with rocky structure and some man made brushbpiles. I fish out of a small aluminum boat with no electronics. What would be the best technique to find and catch smallies right now ?

It is a tough lake to fish and i live here fish it all the time. Still haven't figured it out though. Lol

Spring and summer is always heavy boat traffic mostly tourists. Lol. Lake is empty now. I need to get out there and fish the bluffs
