  1. I agree, maybe a spinner bait would be more suitable.
  2. Keep your rod tip high reel in fast dip in grass and yank it out ocationaly to prevoke a strike. Also baby minus 1 problems solved!
  3. My tackle was stolen out of my truck before its sad and depressing. I had to start over missed a season. But I started back up by filling up a 3700 with square bills then just continued filling 3700s and now I can honestly say that I built up my arsenal even better than before.
  4. So your saying you throw a 2.5 more than a 1.5?
  5. I say spend more on the reel get a good rod later

I mainly use skinny bear jigs from tw or pepper jigs at Walmart but I was interested in a jig specifically for spots if there is such a thing, I seen a video on a jig "specifically design" for spots wile trolling threw tw site its a jig made by TNT the m80 but I never heard of any one using it?

Was wondering what brand and type of skirted jigs are your favorites for spotted bass , post spawn and in the dog days of summertime? your opinions will be very much appreciated ?
  9. Not sure but I do know that a shishamo has like 30 bearings??
  10. I do some spotted bass fishing in some pretty clear water and I use solid green pumkin no flake and I also like the orange brown color or brown and even like a rootbeer color are effective, IMO.
  11. Sucks that tw bag is not available till August! I got my tw bag for 50$ during black Friday its a great bag holds a lot I'm a bank fishermen most of the time and I hual around a ton of stuff I can't think of another bag that is as good as two bag. Tw tackle bag has some flaws but still better than most bags.
  12. I was talking about some of the earlyer post. But whatever brother.
  13. I think their should be some kind of fine or penalty for a pro that lies about what they are throwing when they win a big tournament specially the classic. I feel that it's just straight out wrong and dishonest some sort of punishment should be given.
  14. I always have a few speed traps in my arsenal. Great baits I fish them just how I would fish any other square bill. They just need some tuning here and there. Those timber tigers are some weird looking baits I always wanted to try one.
  15. maybe its a confidence thing? I'm used to big hooks 3/0 4/0 or even 5/0 when I throw soft plastics or swim baits I catch plenty of fish like that but when I'm not producing nothing is working,I just can't get myself to tie a tiny little hook on and nose hook a worm wile I slowly wiggle it around, and I have done it maybe not long enuf but I have with no success. I like using a 2/0 circle hook when I wacky rig not many ppl use them for bass fishing but they are great just let the fish run and it hooks itself. Have you used a circle hook for drop shot?
  16. My spinning set up is a 7 medium fast #8 rod with a new model shimano Sedona c3000fe
  17. I hate drop shottin?
  18. Flat broke by norman .I think is worth mentioning.
  19. I bought a couple of fat boys on tw because of the great paint jobs on those little fat boys but I haven't had success? I just stop using them?
  20. RC square bill by lucky strike a must have !
  21. What about pepper custom jigs they make a good micro jig cut a rage menace in half and use it for a trailer.
  22. Two three seasons?
  23. I remember a year or two ago looking at those combos at Walmart and I'm sure they were about 100 bucks.
