  1. Is it necessary to change out treble hooks on a strike king 6xd crank bait if I'm fishing for white Bass hybrids or stripers ? I know tournament anglers do but I'm not a tournament angler and I wonder if it's even necessary for the kind of fish I am after . since I am not fishing for large mouth Bass .the reason I am even asking this question is because for me changing out treble hooks is a pain and I don't want to risk getting a hook stuck in me but what are y'all's thoughts should I change them out or should I keep coming the original hooks ?
  2. Or you may want to try one of the storm rattling chugbug I heard this is a good lure
  3. We call them sandbass here in Texas too
  4. We were jigging spoons we caught the catfish on punch bait and chicken
  5. Here's a photo of the 46 sandbass me and 4 other people caught this past Monday at lake tawakoni Texas. we caught most of them trolling a bomber model 4 a crank bait .
  6. I never ever remove the red meat because I feel like you're wasting most of the meat when you do and besides ive never had any problems with fishy taste in the white Bass from lake tawakoni .in fact sometimes when I fillet the white Bass I will scale the fish and leave the skin on because if feel the skin has alot of good flavor
  7. Me and 3 other people were sandbass fishing lake tawakoni Texas last Sunday and caught 42
  8. I prefer cotton Cordell's because their cheap compared to other lipless crankbait brands like the bill Lewis rat l trap
  9. I love white bass myself they are fun to catch and really good eating ..
