  1. I’ll definitely look into that, thank you.
  2. I’ve heard the paint chips off and they break. But for $10 I think it’d be worth a shot.
  3. Anyone used this? How well does it work? Is it worth it?
  4. Yeah, I’m looking for a do it all.
  5. Do you think that it could handle crankbaits, worms, swimbaits, regular jigs, and topwaters?
  6. Are they sensitive? Is there anything you really like about them or something that stands out against St. Croix? I want to fish jigs, plastics, crankbaits, light flipping and pitching, frogs(not much slop around here), spinnerbaits, small swimbaits and topwaters. I know some rods will work better than others but I want a rod that will do decent all the way around not just a specific area.
  7. I have them and the only thing that worked for me was the grasshopper.
  8. I haven’t heard great things either, I think that there are better rods at this price range and they just wanted Gary’s name on their rods.
  9. I heard that TFO blanks were designed with the help of Gary Loomis and they weren’t the same quality of a G. Loomis.
  10. Sweet, this is what I’ve been looking for!
  11. How do you like the Mod. Fast action?
  12. I want a versatile rod. I want one for almost everything, not everything though, I know that a rod covering everything wouldn’t work well. Most lures I’ll throw will be around 1/4-3/4 ish What’s the most versatile out of these lineups?
  13. They sound like RTIC, low advertising to keep down product cost. I’d like to try their brand, the reviews seem too good to be true to be honest. Could you give me an update on how you like the rod?
  14. I’m talking about the BLANK. The Avid and the Mojo’s blank is the same, SCIII. Burro said that they weren’t, while St. Croix’s website says that the SCIII is the blank. I don’t see what you’re getting at...
  15. Do any companies sell 2 piece rods with different actions? I saw a cheap rod for sale somewhere but I could tell it wasn’t a good one. What I mean is you have the bottom part of the rod and then you have different tops of the rods for different techniques. I want a versatile casting rod for everything.
  16. Tackle Tour, I just googled ‘Shimano Curado 70 Specs’, I’d look at the Curado K too.
  17. It is, it casts light lures as well, it’s really versatile. I feel like casting lighter lures depends on your brakes and spool tension, while flipping/pitching is the rod and drag of the reel.
  18. What kind of lures do you want to throw? It sounds like lighter ones, I don’t know a lot about Daiwa’s Tatula lineup but I’ve heard great things from both reels. If you want to throw lighter lures and have a lighter setup I’d go with the Curado 70. The Daiwa Tatula is around an ounce heavier. If it was me, I would probably get my hands on both and see which one felt better. They are really similar but the Tatula seems to have more “features”.
