  6. Welcome! I had the opportunity to fish with my wife's cousin while we were in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area visiting this last Sept and caught my first Northern.
  7. It depends on the body of water I am fishing. One small lake in the Oregon coast range that I haul the kayak to is off the beaten path and I am just not that trusting anymore.
  8. I have a Nucanoe Frontier and used the YakAttack cell block to mount my Hummingbird Hook4x. I am with Hawkeye, i like that i can easily remove everything at by removing 2 knobs.
  9. I am not a strong swimmer but regardless I am wearing my pfd while in the yak.
  10. Both of my daughter are grown (29yrs and 34 yrs.) My youngest inherited my love for the outdoors. She will jump at the opportunity to take the other kayak out with me. My oldest, well if there was a Starbucks and a mall on the lake she might go.

  15. I have been reading posts for awhile now and decided it was time to join. I am a kayak fisherman and my weapon of choice is a 12' Nucanoe Frontier. I mainly fish Hagg Lake for large and smallmouth, which is about a 25 mile drive from the house. I have learned alot from reading the posts and articles and look forward to learning even and and contributing what I can.
