  1. I'm not fishing the anytime soon but I love throwing spooks off the points at the north side of the island. I find the far points and position the boat in about 8 feet of water and throw as far out parallel with the point as possible. I usually get a limit of nice smallies by 8 in the morning this way. Later I go with a green pumpkin with chartruese tail worm that is 6 or 8 inches and throw in either in the tulies near the mouth of the river or at any shallow shorelines with red rock. Hope this helps. It is the best I have found in my trips to havasu. Good luck Brett
  2. I bought del's senko mold. It is an aluminum cast 3 cavity. I had problems with the baits ending up with an air pocket in them. I contacted del and he said to heat the mold in the oven first so that the plastic doesn't cool when it touchs the sides of the mold. I tried that and it worked great except it took 15 minutes for the mold to cool to the point I could pull the baits out. Anyone else have this problem and hopefully a solution? Thanks Brett

  6. Live in Poway (basically San Diego) and I'm looking for a good little club where I could fish some tournaments. I am currently a non-boater. Anyone belong to or know of a good one near me?
