Hey guys that make their own lures

Featured Replies

Would there be enough intrest in a trade.  I was thinking if we could do a lure swap.  All of us pour some of our favorite plastics or make our own jigs, spinners, etc and swap them with someone else.

If you are interested post up and we can do a swap of names and trade lures.  Only post up if you are truly interested in the swap.  I was thinking about about a 10 dollar value.

Well sure, just did a lure swap over on Carolina Chip's site and was a lot of fun. Its really neat after the swap to see what everyone got.

Gman,

The way that Chip set it up was a lure or lures worth $10 dollars or more, he did not say handmade or a commercial bait or baits or even baits for that matter. Each person wanting to join in sent him their name and he drew the pairings, then posted the names of the matched persons. The people who were paired then exchanged their adress and made the swap. By limiting the number of people involved and only having to buy or make baits for one person it works real well. If you would like to set this up I will help, but I will be gone untill Monday to a tackle show. With all the bait makers on this site it should be awsome.

I reveived a spray bottle of Hawg Sauce and a spinnerbait from Crossbow, the man who makes Hawg Sauce.

Thanks Whittler.

I guess we could expand it to new lures off the shelf too.  The main reason I wanted to go along with just home made stuff is so we could trade around and get ideas, or just to show off our custom work.

But  so far its just 3 of us.  So like you said we may need to expand it further to new lures also.

Let me know what you guys think.

I want to get in on the swap let me know how it is going to work and when it's all going down.

Will do,

Whittler and I will work out the details when he returns next week.  It might take us all week but I want to have everything in order before I make the ok lets do this post.

I am interested if anybody would like some spinnerbaits like the ones i posted on another thread.  They arent 100% custom made, didnt pour the lead heads, I hope I could still participate.

Sign me up.  I have a few "customs" I can contribute.
