  7. budweiser can with two treble hooks on it,or icehouse, coors, miller highlife, whatever. got to run catbird48
  8. dang, squid, dont be so hard on your man. so what if he disagrees.
  9. think about this, the primary point on a cove on the main lake, theres a creek channel running in close to the bank, scattered rock and grass on the edge of the channel off of the point. i would fish the inside line of the grass with a10 inch red shad worm by zoom rigged texas style in about 3to5 ft. of water. or maybe atrap and just tick the top of the grass. but be sure to hold on to your rod tight. got to run catbird48
  10. i just take my back pac harp with me and when the fishing slows down ill pull out my harp and start playing , [she will be coming around that mountain, when she comes] . that most of the time starts them biting again. got to run catbird48
  11. i think i am going to fish more and fish more often, also im going to learn to break down alarge lake into smaller lakes , pick one that you think holds more fish and disect that part of the lake. ithink my fish/catch ratio will improve ten fold. got to run catbird48
  12. if im in a tournament , im always saying,[ thank you you know your helping me to put some money in my pocket]. oh but what when no one is around and you lose or break off a fish of a lifetime>?[#@$%$#@^&] oops got to run catbird48
  13. fish like edges , fish also like shade, they also like points, so i fish the two corners and the sides of a dock on the shady side. a lot of people use jigs , but i can come behind you with a spinnerbait and drop it just like a jig, raise my rod in a upward movement, stop it and let it flutter back down and hang on. its like a jig with a little more action. got to run catbird48
  14. you know its kinda funny you ask this question, even thow i feel stupid for telling you this , i am. i was fishing in a ten ft. john boat one day out at the farm, ihave a two acre pond on it, i had my dog with me also in the boat,im not talking about a little dog, i was standing up to pull my anchor up , i had my back turned toward the dog,the next thing i feel pressure on my back and the next second i was all wet. i never turned my back on my dog again. got to go catbird48
  15. you know its funny that i throw with my left hand,{if i try to throw with my right hand, the bait might end up in china}, but i can retrive with either hand with no problem. this way i can use either a lefty or a righty ,but i am more prone to use a left hand retrive. i know that there are a lot of right handed retrive reels on the market ,why not left handed? ever time i go into a walley world i have to order a left handed model. dont figure does it. got to run catbird48
