It dives very fast

Anybody have any luck with the grapple shad is it deep diving medium diving or shallow diving just picked one up at Walmart in one of those big two dollar tubs can’t find any information on it other then it’s “vintage” I got the number 14 one I want to use it for pond fishing.

I live in southern North Carolina every bass the swims spawns here So guys if you could only have one bedfishing bait for the rest of your life what would it be?

My dad has the shimano syncopate and I’ve used it and think it’s awesome I will use the bait caster for bass fishing primarily ocean fishing catfish carp fishing I’ll use it to catch anything that swims! I’m leaning towards the baitcaster! Plus my dad said he’d let me use his anytime I want I love the quick fire thing but as a kid I always used spincsst so the bait caster will be easier to use for me I use every type of lure there is literally only one I use least is topwater

Hey I caught my pb bass on a live bluegill on a 3/0 ewg gamagatzu hook it weighed 5.44 pounds!!! What hook do you guys recommend for this and how should I fish the bluegill to search for bass.Next question how should I fish a swimbait to search for fish I normally do a straight retrieve with my bio spawn exo swim on a belly weighted hook what hooks do you guys use for swimbaits what’s your preferred way to fish a swimbait

Yes and the hook is 3/0 not 4/0 But it has a boot tail? Is this how I fish a zoom super fluke it’s a swimbaits right?

Yes I do not have a computer right now but I will in a couple of days I have but maybe not heavy enough? Ok I will however I use this app on my phone I type pretty fast too and most of the time I write stuff at the lake spur of the moment I’m focused on fishing not punctuation and conjunctions.Yes I love snap swivels they prevent line twist and are so much more efficient I don’t understand why people don’t use them more often and it bothers that some company’s make lures where you have to tie it on too the wire frame for it to stay on properly (I’m looking at you strike king!!!) it’s so simple to just make a loop in the frame I use eagle claw size seven snap swivels sorry for the late response haven’t checked this in awhile.

What are the best lures for gar what type hard baits and soft baits work and what craft lures like hot dogs work would shrimp on a treble hook work how do I make the rope lure that catches gar if you know any crankbaits that gar would go after tell me the color that would get there attention thanks

I mainly use crankbaits that’s why I use snap swivels I rarely use bare hook baits.

Ok so I recently got some zoom super flukes and when I used it in the water it’s tail did nothing and it spun I use a 4/0 ewg hook with a size 7 snap swivels is his because I used a swivel should I always tie directly to my line with flukes? Thanks!- Slade

So I mad your little contraption there with some bits and pieces of some old beetle spins I have and some trailer hook rubber how far should the swivel of the spinner be on the hook to get a good hook up all the way back or no also how do you fish this little thing do you just toss it into the current and let it fall down do you mess with it at all or is it a do nothing bait? I also made one modification to this idea I took the wire frame from a beetle spin and took the blade off from the beetle spin and replaced it with a reddish magic blade which is a big Colorado blade is this a good idea or no? Also can you elaborate on what species you catch with this would striper and gar take a bite out of this would buffalo carp eat it??? Thanks!-Slade
