i just started bow hunting this past year.im not all that strong so i couldnt pull the required weight.cant wait till this year when i hopfully get a new bow,right now im using my brothers old one and cant get a nicer one until i get a little bit bigger.its alot of fun tho.havent taken anything but have had a few close encounters an shotguun hunting is no comparison

thanks avid....i most likely wont be able to fish at night on a boat if at all because id probobly turn over our little jonboat searchin for my stuff lol.but this summer i may be able to because my cousin livves right in front of our pond we fish an i might be able to stay the night and go out and bank fish a couple of good spots....o yea were are the bass at night,the open, cover or wherever?

ok i did a little bit of research an it turns out that peta didnt infiltrate BPS but in fact started it, what they are doing is destroying the fishing an hunting community from the inside,once they get all the power and lots of customers they will start sending out subliminal messages in catalogs,adds,commercials etc and make us join them....as for the assasinations they knew that kennedy and mlk were going to fight peta's cause in the future and would ruin their operation so hey ended that problem early so it wouldnt bring up any suspicion ;D they also have a nascar sponsorship so they can get rid of whoever might be left once they get ther own cup series BTW troutfisher i think your right im gettin a little to into this ;D

ok so here lately ive seen quite a few posts of guys cathin good sized fish at night.is night fishing more productive than fishing in the morning or afternoon? ive never night fished but am wondering if im missing out on somthing big thanks in advance RedneckRiot

i neither agree or disagree with fishing for bass on the beds.my main reson is that the pond i fish is really shallow but severely stained so in most places sight fishing on the beds is impossible, all i can do is cast to an area they may or may not be bedding and fish

yea and the little digger claws/hands whatever it has in the front remind me of a mole too

ok these arent the best pictures but my mom found this weird bug an i was wonderin if anyone knew exactly what it could be.its eyes are like a crabs,small little beads kinda, and its grass hopperish looking from the side, i dont know if this helps or not lol

i got one in my head in february an i know what you mean.im 14 an cracked jokes the whole 2-3 hours it was in my head.the looks on peoples faces whan they see ya with a hook in ya its priceless

sorry for hijacking the thread but i just had an idea (a very rare thing ;D) while i have never done this an wouldnt until i know its safe....would salt be a good way to stop the fishes gills from bleeding.it would be good if it stopped the bleedding like it does on a cut by clotting up the blood but i dont know if somthing like salt would do harm to the gills were it is somthing that isnt supposed to be there

sufix seige is really good.unless the line has been on your reeel for a long time there is virtually no memory and it is very strong and abrasion resistant.as for line twist i got two words .....it happens

went out his morning with my uncle at about 10 o' clock,the fishing was slow and we only managed to cach 3.I caught a dink on a boogee bait anithe rthat was between2.8 - 2.13 i cant remember exactly.i got her on a texas rigged worm.i was casting to a bush trying to get under it to were the branches first come out of the water.after several casts i finally got it were i wanted it to go.i let it sit for several seconds and felt a distinctive tap on my pole.i then watched were my lure was and saw a fish flash in its place and my line began to tighten.i set the hook and got her on.she was taking as much line off the reel as i was reeling in for a while and made several runs.i set the hook once or twice more to ensure a good hook up and fought her for the better part of 45 seconds to a minute.i dont know is she was bedding but it was really shallow water and im sure she was a female(can anyone help me out here) i dont know if they will bed that close to a bush/tree or not. she was 18 inches long this next pic is the biggest of the day.my uncle caught it before i caught mine on a texas rigged worm as well and it put up every bit as much of a fight as mine did and was quite a distance from the boat when he got her.she was 3.13, im not sure about length.

8# test sufix seige in smoke green.....i always usw this stuff and the only time ive lost a fish because of line breaking was actually a bad knot,,,i highly recomend it,i us smoke green only cuz it matches the water i fish yours may differ

i have a pair of those that i got in the ER the day i got a hook stuck in my head..i put them in my tackle box but they always get lost in that seemingly bottomless pit lol and i have a horrible memory and forget about them all the time.im going tommorow morning an will have to give em a try thanks for the heads up

the only problem ive had with th leverage hooks on the boogee bait is that its hard as h#@$ to get it out of the fishes mouth if you dont have your pliers handy..for me thats quite often when bank fishing
