fish can live for remarkably long periods of time from what ive herd. ive herd some up to an hour,but for a bass i would call 10 minutes to long and if it ever got to be that long i usually put them in the water and move them around for several seconds if they are out for around 2 minutes in order to let em get a breath or two and i always move em around back in forth or in a circle when i release them to get em recooperated

100% of my worm fishing is done on a t rig but yesterday i was wondering if certian hooks are better than others.i primarily us lazer sharp hooks and was using a worm hook but then read on there web site that there Kahle hook increases hook set percentage and that it can be used for nearly everything.i have some i use on frogs and put one on a worm and it looks lkike a winner but does anyone know if it will perform like one? thanks in advance, redneckriot27

mmost of our fish have been caught on platics and and anything slow.the only pressure it used to have was us(me an my uncle) several times a week and them(back when that was only 2 or 3 of em) from shore a few times and maybe the occasional other family member but nothing much.i hope to night fish this summer but i cant unless my cousin lets me spend the night because my uncle doesnt stay up late and i cant drive for another year and a half

ok before i start i will say one thing...i m not trying to whine about my problems with this post for the past 2 or 3 week the bite has been really slow(as in were catching as many as we did back in february) and this is the best time of year to fish well a kid about 20 somthing years old that lives on the pond has 2 canues and recently got about a 10 foot jonboat. and according to my cousins wife they have been going out almost every day with 3 head in each boat a total of 9 people!!!! and to give you a clue as to how this is alot of pressure this pond is only 5-10 acres a few of witch are covered with vegitation.so i guess what i am getting at is that this pond(witch is usually minimally pressured) is now getting a ton of fishing pressure and it is seriusly affecting our fishing....is there any way of fishing or anything we can do to catch more fish while it is still under this kind of pressure BTW the kid thats fishing is a nice guy and by no means do i want to keep him from fishing

i agree , i havent seen the video but knowing peta a group thatll do anything to get a point across it is impossible to know what kind of editing they could have done to make the proccess seem much more grusome than it really is

last sunday i went out and got one nice bass.it was almost 3 pounds and i believe it was bedding.i was casting a worm under a bush to get her because it was a perfect spot for a fish to hide and bam i got her on a near perfect cast but i dont know if a bass will bed within a foot or two of a bush or is this common for the safety it provides or has this bass either already spawned or not started yet thanks in advance redneckriot

i almost did last year.it was my first good fish of the year about 4.5 and we went to the shore were the truck was to get the camera.while i waited with the fish i tried to switch hands and it seized the opportunity to wiggle free.in about 5 inches of water i saw the fish try to get away and i had to almost jump out of the boat and get a hold of her.luckely she didnt move much an i got her and the pic P.S didnt keep the fish out of the water long.while trolling back to the shore we held her just under the surface so she could breath
