  2. i think my mom would rather have a golden.....im 14 now but from the time i was 2 until 13 we had a golden that was just a house pet not a retreiving dog an now all my mom wants is another BUT my dad says he dont want another because we have another dog thats esentually a MUTT an he says we need to wait a while an take care of this one + my mom told me if we ever get another golden that theres no way i could take it hunting ugh an to make matters worse i wont have the money to buy one on my own because i only have a little less than 2 summers to raise money for a truck....right now it seems like me an my bro will have to go solo for another year or too unless i can do some serius presuading
  3. im a firm believer in the willow blade......it sounds stupid but were fishin really stained water which doesnt make sense but theres alot of vegitation an the willow doesnt snag......i always make it a special point to buy only spinnerbaits that have all willows on em
  4. yea i agree with BUD one day i fopund an old tackle box in my garage that had some nice worms in it but they were all trash bcuz they had melted to the sides,and practically every other lure in there
  5. ive never fished crankbaits much b4 but today i picked one up...it seems to be a perfect bait bcuz im fishing shallow banks..i got it in the green shad chart. color i would like to hear yall's opinions on these and if uve ever used the color does it work? thanx

  13. i was flippin threw a cabelas catalog an noticed a thing called a furbit frog made by optimum. its a typical hollow bodied frog but has rabbit fur legs and a spinner blade on the bottom. i was wondering if anyones used or heard of these and knows if they work or are worth the money thanx logan

  18. i have never salmon fished but ive watch ALOT of tv shows an videos on the internet were they use in line spinners like mepps and blue fox in large sizes
  19. if ur familiar with tackle boxes that have the walls/sides "or watever u want to call it" with notches in it for spinnerbaits....i jus hang my cranks on them by the front hook

  21. i once had a golden just for a pet not for hunting an i can back up wut u said other...she was the nicest dog ever
  22. here are some pics from last weekend when i got my lure stuck in a rather uncomfortable place P.S. in the second picture the hook is pinning my hat to my head an had to b cut off
  23. tally one more up to the texas rig....simple and efficient dont ask why but i like ti more for worm, when it comes to a lizzard i use weightless
  24. as far as the golden an the lab are they both about the same as far as how well they retrieve.....were we hunt swiming isnt much of an issue because we hunt a low area in a field that collects a little bit of water after rain no more than a foot or two deep an most of the ducks end up fallin in the feild not the water by the time we get to em and maintenance wont bother me much thanx
