io have the sahara and i love it..smoothest reel ive ever fished an the price is extremely fair

in or pond weve caught nice sized bass on a frog roostertail just fishing it like normal...but we try to find areas with as little wind as possible

a couple of weeks ago i went to bps in baltimore and got the xps tri vibe ( kinda like a rattle trap ) and it does look really good in my tackle box and in the water but when i used it the only thing i caught was a trip to the ER with a hook in my head : BTW i dont plan on using it again lol

Munkin you said that chartruese is good....we use alot of dark green,,,,gold,,and yellow on other baits do u think they might work on a crank as well??? thanx

are the 1000's any good..i saw them on there website and mite work on the shore at my pond.....however the seem very small ....also will a crank bait work in a color that is good on another bait like a in line spinner or spinnerbait thanx

i have never really fished cranks baits before an im lookin at buyin a few.......are bandits any good and if so what colores do yall use...i fish shallow stained water so im lookin at the shallow flat maxx and footloose thanx in advance logan

i had some luck with a 1/4 ounce frog colored roostertail

lol when it happened to me it pinned my hat to my head an we had to cut part of it...i did it wit a 5/8 ounce crank one trevle was completly in my head

it didnt feel good but after i stopped messin around wit it i couldnt tell it was there until i would touch it or something P.S that lure will never hit the water again ( bad luck ) lol

wow yesterday me an my uncle went fishing an at about 2.20 pm i went to cast my lure and some how it nailed me in the head. it felt like i had been punched by some one.i soon realized that one of the hooks was deeply enbeded in my head. well neadess to say we went to shore an back home and i fidled wit it for an hour or so.then we went to the ER and they had to numb my head with needles and then pull the hook all the way through ,cut the barb off.and then pull it out the way it came in :-?it was a bit ironic that i was using "bleeding" hooks lol ;D P.S ill be sure to get some pics of it on in the next day or so

yea deffinetly a waste of money......however the bionic minnow lures( if they are what im thinking they are) actually work....my brother in college an one of his freinds came home over sumer an his friend had them an said in spring he caught a ton on em

its not all that strange but one time i hooked a catfish that had a orangish red egg sack or something of that sort hagin out of it :-?

what about the lure could it ruin the finish of it or repel fish away from it if u dont clean it?

it doenst cost as much as u may want to spend or as some other reels metioned cost but my shimano sahara is a great reel for only 60 $ and has a wonderful drag

spinning blade 1. shiney object to attract every species of plant to your lures hook 2. helpful devise to block incoming hooks from nailin u in the face on false hook sets ;D

a roostertail or blue fox in line spinner will catch any fish any time ;D

i fish a relatively large pond and if the wind is over 15-20 mph we try to stay off and just fish the shore.........as far as casting cast sidearm and stay under the wind. try not to cast normally and get caught up in all the wind
