  1. So yesterday I went fishing with my younger brother (he is 14) and I was using my baitcaster and he was really interested in learning how to use it. I am stuck between the Abu Garcia Black Max or the Silver Max, out of the two what would you recommend for a beginner Baitcaster? Also I’d probably get a $40-$50 rod from Walmart , what would you recommend rod wise as well? Thanks everyone!
  2. Thanks everyone for all the replies and advice! I am Going to my local Walmart and pick up a few top lures and worms and see how that works out for me, then I’ll try a few other techniques.
  3. Alright guys, I haven’t really fished much since I was a little kid so I’m getting into it a lot here lately and I went out and bought a nice baitcaster and rod. I need to build a tackle box from ground up, what are some lures that every Bass Fisherman should have in their tackle box? And also where is a good place to order things online? (Only have a Wal-Mart near me)
  4. Cabela’s has the St. Croix Premier on sale for $99 and I’m debating on picking it up or not
  5. Thanks Guys, fixing to look into them now
  6. Hello everyone, I just went out and bought my first Baitcaster which is a Abu Garcia Revo X. I have been looking around for a rod to pair it with but I'm fairly new to the whole pairing a rod and a reel together (Normally just buy a cheap Way-Mart Combo). I have been searching the internet for ideas and thats how I ended up here, my price is about $100.00 so far I've found the Abu Garcia Veritas that I thought about pairing it with but I want to have some other inputs on recommendations. Thanks a lot everyone!
