  1. Something like this: http://annarbor.craigslist.org/boa/388102885.html or this http://annarbor.craigslist.org/boa/384726608.html Here: http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=aluminum+boat&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max A BUNCH OF THEM!
  2. Get a jon boat. They are more comfortable and stable. Look at your local craigs list, they are for sale all the time. You can probably get a jon and trolling motor for way under a K. Where do you live, I can try to help you find something.
  3. Very nice boss! You have some serious skill!
  4. For what its worth, click on this link and read the peoples reviews. Each case is individual, and from reading them it seems more have good luck than bad luck. http://www.epinions.com/boat-Motors-All-Outboard-Horsepower-0_to_15
  5. Take it out and see if its Black and filled with crud. If it is, that could be the culprit. There only a couple of bucks, but make sure you get the correct one.
  6. Same thing happened with my powerwasher >....it was bad gas. Are you using old gas maybe? Did you check the spark plug for fouling?
  7. Good luck with it! Nothing like having your own boat.
  8. You should be fine! Not ideal, but a 17 foot tracker is not that heavy. Sorry about your Dad :-[
  9. I use a 1/8th. Average depth at this reservoir is 5-6 feet.
  10. We do that when we go from one spot to another with our electric only boat. We dont go fast, but the bass hit it. We leave the worms out about 50-60 feet. Line twist galore, so If your going to do it all day long, I woul use a swivel.
  11. Are the batteries the same age size and brand? Does that make a difference when using/charging?
  12. Thanks for the heads up and info!
  13. I saw this yesterday and then it disappeared ;D
  14. You can use a marine battery selector switch like this one: http://www.semarine.com/store/product.php?productid=294&cat=204&page=1
  15. I have the fishmark 480 and I love it. No issues whatsoever. I cant speak about the other unit. But I know the 490 is a great unit. Allot of people have it and think its a decent unit for the cake.
  16. bigger is better. If you can afford it and store it then go with the bigger boat! IMO
  17. Very impressive! Superb job! I wish I could work with my hands LOL!
  18. Good to hear, I'll be fishing up in Maine Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. New Moon is on Friday. CANT WAIT!
  19. he shoots....he scores. You coul easily sell it for more than double what you paid fo it!
  20. $600 on one reel that sits in my gun safe collecting dust next to my HK USP45 with teflon coated bullets. ;D
  21. Dave, For the same amount of money you can get a 14 foot jon boat, http://www.trackerboats.com/boat/index.cfm?boat=2262 36 pound thrust motorguide http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=58786&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults and a battery for around $100. Boat is longer, will track better in the water, more room for more gear, you can add seats for $30 bucks each, and the boat weighs less than the plastic one and wont take in water like plastic ones do after a few years. Then you can convert it a couple of years. Thats what I would do IMO.
  22. I dont think you will have a problem pulling that at all.
  23. I have, They are usually pretty good about everything. And there prices are excellent too.
  24. Glenn, How do you like that flooring in your garage?
