  1. I always get 'should have been here yesterday, they were biting good'
  2. Great, which one of you broke the dam
  3. Walker, we caught the bream off docks
  4. Good looking fish. We caught a zillion 6-8 inch catfish and some good sized bream. Didnt get to bass fish as much as I though due to boat full of people. Did manage to break my indestructible trolling motor shaft, dodged a lot of stumps, but didnt see that one.
  5. Catt started following Progator
  6. Good grief, level is in the 167 range now
  7. Lake is at 168.53, is that bad? Just downloaded boatlanes, but doubt we will venture out past San Miguel except to get to the island on the left side of map. We will be in an older maroon(reddish) dual console progator, please stop by and say hi if you see us.
  8. Much like Walker above, I've always been a bank beater and willing to learn as well, this thread has been a good read over the years, but now its time to put it to good use. Will be on TB Aug 1st-4th with family and we are staying at a VRBO in San Miguel. Some nice quick depth changes/points going to flats in bottom right(arrows), bend in channel mid screen and some water deep next to an island. Also, left side of screen, shore with a long flat area that drops quickly toward channel. I don't know TB at all, are these some areas that anyone would suggest for some morning, evening into night areas? I tried to pick these spots based on info from the thread like 22-28 fow near deeper water, points..etc. Thanks
  9. Not on the lake, but wow that wind is crazy. Be safe
  10. Wind is no joke. Here is a post of waves going over bridge on rayburn https://www.facebook.com/155168714677710/posts/995490197312220?sfns=0
  11. On several of the mlf shows. The pros seek out stained water
  12. Read good things about boat lanes and the tommy martin cards but I think they are supplements
  13. Using the advise in the almost 300 pages here, I fished dorcheat. I have always fished cypress trees, shallow and deep, and never open water. Not quite bank beating but still narrow minded on my part. Wow, putted around and marked humps, usually 17 or so to 7 feet. I caught 18 bass with most around 3-4lbs. Not monsters but fun to fight. It is almost like cheating when you mark fish that you know are there instead of just tree smacking for miles on end. When the shad balls start dancing, I threw tx rig under them and it was awesome. If I fished higher, next to shad, I only caught small ones.
  14. Dont forget to renew fishing license, if you dont have a lifetime one
  15. Looks like someone adjusted....?
  16. Awesome, thanks. Been following this thread forever. Great info here........
