Hey guys! I have a quick question. I'm relatively new to bass fishing as I just started in June but I've already acquired quite a bit of gear. I put together a frog pole but I'm not having luck and I just want to l make sure it's not from my line. I'm using 50 lb power pro braid in the high vis yellow. Is that making them line shy? Can a black sharpie on the first couple feet make a difference or am I just over thinking? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys thanks for letting me join! I'm from Jersey originally and moved to Florida a couple years ago. Just started fishing for the first time since I was a kid on June 11th and caught what's all my PB on my second cast. I've been hooked since. Bought a little 10 foot bass hound boat and hit the lake a few times a week. Can't wait to get to know everyone!
